03/8/2015 08:07 | Very nearly topped up at 12p when the co is clearly worth more than the 14p offered. | battlebus2
03/8/2015 07:46 | First two quotes to open up this morning don't seem to be giving much credence to the offer. SCAP bidding 10p and GOOD just 8.5p. | lord gnome
03/8/2015 07:41 | Some fast-growing mobile companies would pay Euro20m just for the skilled staff, Irish market access and carrier billing contracts.(Probably why it's highly conditional.) Remember that this is one of the cheapest shares on the market thanks to lack of broker coverage, poor liquidity and being under a market cap of £10m. It's a bit of a catch 22 but the bid might change that overnight. It looks like Zamano touting around for acquisitions has just just caused the tables to be turned on it because it is so cheap. We need to at least wait for the AGM business update on Thursday before doing anything silly. Sell at 14p and you won't find anything on the market as cheap to reinvest in. | aleman
03/8/2015 07:41 | Looks like a very shrewd offer to me in more ways than one.... | battlebus2
03/8/2015 07:23 | 14p is far too cheap for this, especially if it includes the cash pile. | lord gnome
03/8/2015 07:08 | Possible Offer around 14p so a steal imv. The Board of zamano (the "Board") confirms that it has received a preliminary and highly conditional approach regarding a possible offer for the Company at an offer price of €0.20 per zamano ordinary share (the "Approach"). The Approach is highly conditional on, amongst other things, confirmatory due diligence. Accordingly, there can be no certainty that any offer will be made nor as to the terms of any offer. Further announcements will be made as appropriate and shareholders are strongly advised to take no action for the time being. | battlebus2
22/7/2015 15:35 | Bought more Zamano. Last results showed c €4m cash and mkt cap just under £10m. Price to free cash flow of something like 3.5 - this is stupidly cheap, any positive news or revenue growth could put a rocket underneath this. Ive got a feeling (i hope) once this passes beyond £10m mkt cap itll start to appear on many more pi radars and get greater blog coverage etc. Plus itll soon be a 90+ ranked stock on stockopedia. Hat tip again to wexboy who originally brought to my attention. Gla Shaun | shaunstar
22/7/2015 14:18 | I see what you mean. Globo don't book their revenues as they are received but give a complicated explanation of about booking when they effectively become probable (to paraphrase). That happened to Blue Star, Geong, and RMS Tenon, amongst others where revenue from contracts was booked at the start. It's usually a bad sign. It inflates the apparent profit margin and the high receivables (for work not done yet) make the balance sheet look much better than conventional accounting would. The revenue growth could be signing off lots more contracts that actually run at a loss until the accounting pen is waved to bring revenues forward but not costs. Still that is usally associated with poor cashflows and fundraisings. Globo is showing good operating cashflows but then so did Naibu. The regular fundraisings are what one would expect with dodgy accounting, though. On balance, I'd steer clear of Globo so take my earlier post with a big pinch of salt. They are possibly buying contract growth by losing money on them under conventional accounting where revenue is booked when received against costs as they occur. Thanks for the warning to check deeper. | aleman
22/7/2015 08:42 | Shaunstar. I have seen postings on other boards to that effect. 'As bogus as a Greek tax return' was one phrase that springs to mind. | lord gnome
22/7/2015 07:50 | Aleman, lets not discuss globo here, but as a heads up i will say that globo has significant red flags leading many to believe something untoward is going on there. Its widely considered that its results/numbers may be bogus. Quick google search will give you the relevant views and research. | shaunstar
22/7/2015 01:33 | Stonking results from Globo (GBO), which is also moving from consumer mobile services to business mobile services. Their H1 turnover was up 57%. EBITDA was up 55% to Euro34m. They'll make over £50m in EBITDA in 2015 and it's growing like crazy yet the market cap is only £170m for fears over Greece even though that's now less than 10% of its business. Can Zamano edge into those sorts of areas? Also, reading through Globo's activities highlights how much consolidation is going on in the sector. Will Zamano acquire or be acquired? I think both shares are going places. I'm baffled why they are both on such low ratings. They are both generating increasing amounts of cash and have very strong balance sheets. When will the market wake up to them? | aleman
17/7/2015 09:44 | A pulse. I've found pulse. It's alive. ;-) | lord gnome
15/7/2015 14:04 | While these could beat 20p on fundamentals, I think the short term price target looks like 16p or so. All it might take is maintaining recent trading in H1. Hopefully, smallcap funds will show interest once it sustains a market cap over £10m and then liquidity will improve a little. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | aleman
15/7/2015 13:56 | Should get an IMS with the AGM in 22 days. The shares should move up again if H2's momentum is maintained. | aleman
01/7/2015 11:07 | MAM stock watch occasionally shows the correct prices, but fear not, Level2 is always correct. No need for a heart attack. | lord gnome
01/7/2015 10:45 | I take it you mean Mon£yam, where I am also getting 3p-5p | aleman
01/7/2015 10:42 | Stockwatch bid and offer figures on MAM for this share are nonsense - currently showing 3p bid and 5p offer. | doodlebug4
10/6/2015 17:34 | Thanks for clarifying Aleman, i think the geographical footprint is what i'd be looking at. | battlebus2
10/6/2015 17:32 | From the finals: The Board and management remain committed to diversifing both the product range and geographical spread of its existing business and will continue to pursue opportunities as they present themselves or as they are targeted. Undoubtedly, there is a buoyant market environment for web and mobile commerce products and services at present. zamano has considerable capability in data analytics, mobile billing/payments and mobile marketing where it can add value to a joint venture, licensing or acquisition situation and we hope to capitalise on these core strengths in the coming year. During the period under review, zamano and its advisors put considerable resources into identifying acquisitions, investments and joint venture opportunities, primarily in the UK and Ireland. In this regard, strict acquisition criteria have been formulated and agreed by the Board. The Group and its advisors identified and examined a number of opportunities in mobile media, billing and messaging, but unfortunately to date none of these potential investments adequately met the criteria set. We do, however, continue to actively pursue a number of targets with a view to diversifying our business operations. | aleman
10/6/2015 17:27 | The company has stated a few times it wishes to use its increasing cash pile to make an acuisition to leverage its mobile marketing/payments skills. More recently, it stated it had turned down a few opportunities it had looked at. I think they were lookign at a wider geographic footprint until recently but now want to leverage the carrier billing contracts signed in Ireland (with similar contracts to come in UK with same carriers, perhaps?). | aleman
10/6/2015 17:19 | What deal are we looking at Aleman an acquisition or contract news? | battlebus2
10/6/2015 17:18 | Just for info i tried to buy 25k before the close at 11p and was quoted 11.5p.. | battlebus2
10/6/2015 17:02 | You're welcome, LG, but don't get too carried away. This one can move quite a bit either way. I hope the slowly rising price improves liquidity, although I expect that to improve when the deal comes anyway. | aleman
10/6/2015 16:50 | Very happy with today's moves. Very interesting also to read Battlebus2' comments in post 268. Looks like I must have mopped up the loose stock last week - either that or the market has got wind of a deal and wants to discourage buyers. Thanks again to Aleman for drawing this to my attention. | lord gnome
10/6/2015 15:28 | A few sellers taking profits :)) I think 20p is possible here over the medium term. | battlebus2 |
