13/9/2007 22:33 | It works fine type both into google it works fine you are speaking nonsense i have googled shrinkmytunes and shrink my tunes and both find the website and amazon or ebuyer | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 22:32 | porkbelly They dont have to search for reseller sites they buy it direct from www.shrinkmytunes.co for gods sake just go and have a look at the web site, are you being deliberately obtuse? | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 22:31 | rol, not panicking at all. i just want an RNS to tell the public where they can get it. It has already been shown that searching for it doesn't work very well because of the shrinkmytunes and shrink my tunes problem. Why should anyone search for it all ? | pork belly
13/9/2007 22:30 | pork belly I would prefer they sell it direct from the magazine publicity porkbelly on their website they got good user take up with onspeed, for gawds sake chill out and given them a chance I would prefer z group got £19.99 direct, rather than a % of £16.48 from amazon. no advice intended, RoL >>>>>--------------- | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 22:27 | tanazuk, you have just cleared up anothr complaint of mine to ZGP tonight. why is shrinkmytunes on www.amazon.com and NOT www.amazon.co.uk ? the answer being that shrinkmytunes is NOT on www.amazon.co.uk but Shrink My Tunes is ! this is another reason why an RNS is required. I have been searching Amazon.co.uk for shrinkmytunes with no results. as it came up with it straight away on amazon.com it didn't even occur to me to seperate the words into Shrink My Tunes ! Now, if i couldn't find shrinkmytunes on Amazon.co.uk....how many others are having the same problem ? Will email ZGP about this. Also, why should anyone have to search for official reseller sites when they can be directed straight there in one easy RNS ? its all too simple to rectify imho. | pork belly
13/9/2007 22:20 | porkbelly, why are you panicking? what do all the articles which talk about it say? do they mention a website perchance? and what obscure name is it by chance? yes shrinkmytunes.com lol personally Im much happier if people buy it direct from z group from their OWN website as no cut to any middle men if you google shrinkmytunes, what comes up? yup first two links are shrink my tunes website, and then wired which mentions the company website (with link) and amazon its interesting its on ebuyer, but its hardly more important than the shrinkmytunes website for gawds sake... its only gained a seeming importance because you suggested it porkbelly, and mentioned they show a stock figure amazon will be more significant I would have thought if you look in kelkoo, amazon comes up if you look in pricerunner, amazon comes up Im sure ebuyer will in time no advice intended RoL >>>>>--------------- | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 22:16 | Apologies all!. I have done a google with "Shrink My Tunes" and not "shrinkmytunes" which has returned the following links: Shrink My Tunes Get 4 times more music on your MP3 player, 1 pod or mobile Shrink My Tunes Software Get 4 times more music on your MP3 player - only £16.49 at Ebuyer.com! Amazon.co.uk: Shrink My Tunes (PC): Software Shrink My Tunes (PC) by Z Group Plc. Platform: Windows XP ... As the discription says, it applies algorithms to your tunes, and reduces the bit rate to 24 ... - 117k - Cached - As you will see... ebuyer is number 2 in the returned results....Amazon, albeit only has two reviews at the time of posting, but both are positive..... | tanazuk
13/9/2007 21:18 | I simply don't see the point in releasing a product and HOPING everyone will find it on ebuyer. Why HOPE at all ? Just tell everyone, in one simple RNS, exactly where they can buy it, both now, and in the run up to Christmas. This company will stand or fall with the Christmas sales of Shrinky. | pork belly
13/9/2007 21:15 | "Anybody who hasn't heard of Ebuyer must live on a different planet! imo" They have sold just 11 units from ebuyer in 6 days. Clearly the ebuyer fans are on another planet ! ZGP simply HAVE to tell everyone where to buy their product. Its simple common sense. They have a great little product....SO TELL EVERYONE WHERE TO GET IT ! If they do this, then i'm sure we will see sales pick up dramatically from ebuyer. | pork belly
13/9/2007 21:07 | Ebuyer is the UK's largest independent online retailer of cheap computers, laptops, digital cameras, tvs and other electronics. Visit us to browse our whole ... Anybody who hasn't heard of Ebuyer must live on a different planet! imo | cpurser
13/9/2007 21:06 | Ebuyer.... 2943 now in stock... the product is being sold... but could be speeded up with more awareness....... | tanazuk
13/9/2007 20:58 | On a positive note, ebuyer is a favourite amongst the circles I move in. Therefore I am content that they are supplying the product. I agree that people should be made awares of where to purchase the product as aven a "google" does not point you to ebuyer. The retail outlets must be advertised to the buying public by ZGP. So, any ZGP marketeer regularly scouring the BB's, please take our comments on board and duly advise joe public where to go. We are all here trying to help this company succeed and you must listen to us! | tanazuk
13/9/2007 20:15 | On a more positive note, the customer reviews are very good on Ebuyer. And trust me, if their customers are unhappy with a product, their reviews do appear on the website. But the presence of a serial pump and dump merchant here will put people off. As soon as 1smart has gone is your buy signal (if you're looking to buy). | bozzy_s
13/9/2007 20:12 | Pork Belly, Ebuyer are huge. Anyone buying a MP3 player online, searching through Google or wherever, would almost certainly have stumbled across Ebuyer. I guess as an Ebay trader I discovered them when looking for suppliers. But all my friends aren't Ebayers and still use Ebuyer for their PC accessories etc. What is a bit of a concern for ZGP, on the face of it, is Ebuyer have exclusive rights to sell this (what appears to be quite cool) technology. And they're turning over about £5 a day in royalties for ZGP. Enough money to pay one of their office cleaners for 45 minutes work. | bozzy_s
13/9/2007 19:03 | Tonight, i have emailed 4 different addresses at ZGP expressing my main concern. I have NEVER heard of ebuyer.com and neither has anyone i know. If i don't know where to buy it (and i'm a shareholder!) how the hell is anyone else going to know !! I have requested an RNS (non-reg if necessary) to update the public on where it can be bought. I think this could be a great product with huge potential (especially in the run up to Christmas)....but whats the point in having a great product....and not telling anyone where you can buy it ? | pork belly
13/9/2007 18:16 | Spoke to ZGP today. They confirmed that Teather are working on an updated Research Note and ZGP will put it on their website as soon as its available. Keep an eye on this page: | pork belly
13/9/2007 15:34 | DCB. Today is already a great day and note that theory would be well in profit as already loads of short price favourites are well and truly hammered, just remember why the bookies are always there day in day out, because outsiders do win and win a lot, i think because owners dont want their horses running on their merits at even money, they want them at fancy prices. My system has already made it's daily amount so no need to chase unless the odds are well in my favour. | dangerous brian
13/9/2007 15:26 | Thanks for your continued informative posts ROL . keep them coming.......... it's a pity like minded people can not have a general informal discussion regarding this company minus the bias (ie ramping / deramping)... Certainly the shrinkmytunes product by itself merits some attention... I accept there may be competing, leading edge products out there comparable to shrinky but it's all about who can get it in to the market first.... | tanazuk
13/9/2007 14:42 | copied from a forum: "In MP3 format at 128Kbps (roughly CD quality), songs are stored at slightly under 1MB per minute. 2GB is 2,048MB (although some players will equate it to only 2,000MB). Therefore you'll get over 2,048 minutes of music on the player. If your average song is 4 minutes long, that equates to a little over 512 songs. As a general rule of thumb, you can assume that you'll get about 250 songs per gigabyte on an MP3 player (in MP3 format)." From this its clear that someone who could store maybe 40 albums on a 2GB mp3 player could store maybe up to 160 albums once they have been shrunk with shrink my tunes... I will be shrinking my mp3's to fit on my 2GB mp3 player, which currently they do not Personally I would perfer to do that than get an 8GB player. no advice intended, RoL >>>>>--------------- | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 14:38 | I have tried the software thanks. My opinion is not the same as yours, clearly. | robin_of_loxley
13/9/2007 13:50 | Ah DCB, didn't think about the commission charges! Wonder how much of the 'profit' would be wiped out by them? I guess a plan would be to lay the horse as soon as it's tipped by Daily Donkey. Be the first to do so, and as peeps follow suit, back it before the race starts. | bozzy_s
13/9/2007 12:17 | Dead-Cat Bouncer. Thing is i'm not doing what i mention, this was just a theory, my system is making profits and has done every day since i started, not a fortune but while i sit here and watch my shares go nowhere fast i'm making money. You have to understand that lots of people are making a good living using betfair ! One way to make money is to see where the early money is going on the Bookmaker websites, then back it at betfair and then lay it off a few hours later, easy 5-10% can be made this way. | dangerous brian
13/9/2007 11:59 | bozzy_s - no you wouldn't. The "profit" does not take into account betfair's charges. The point of the site is to generate the fees which betfair gives to referers when new accounts are opened. | dead-cat bouncer |
