25/2/2009 20:32 | in for the recovery.. it's not a bank, it's not a builder -it's got no debt and a positive cash flow.. at this price it's a steal | moreforus
19/2/2009 12:30 | RNOW and YOUGOV are significantly different business models. To compare them is to compare chalk and cheese. RNOW is a "cut and dried" provider of on-line panels. They are really a third party provider to the market research industry. They will always be needed if organisations want to conduct on-line market research. The general belief is that in recession organisations will still want to do research but move towards the most cost effective type: on-line. YouGov are more mixed providing access to their panels but also doing the research itself. They have won high margins historically on this research due to their strong brand and close ties to Government. Clearly organisations, at this time, are not prepared to pay a premium on research services. YouGov's price gains over the last few years have to be viewed as a hyperbole driven bubble. YouGov is a brilliant marketing success story but in these different times that is not enough. | angusmacdougall
08/2/2009 14:38 | Sunday Questor recommends this as a HOLD. He says that although the company has suffered over the last few months it has the potential to be taken private by management at some point over the next year. | meenan
06/2/2009 15:59 | underlying multiple here much higher than pre-warning. | markie7
06/2/2009 15:48 | Looks like decent bounce forming... | qs9
06/2/2009 13:15 | YOU in my opinion still has a very strong brand, is profitable and has lots of cash, so will a comptetitor take advantage of this dip? Interesting as such an acquistion IMO would give very good coverage at a knock down price. Lets see. I have bought a few today on that basis. | qs9
06/2/2009 09:52 | correct 96,676,552 from | darlocst
06/2/2009 09:51 | As per sharescope 96.7million darlocst is that correct? tia | cr4zyness
06/2/2009 09:43 | How many shares in issue guys? ADVFN still showing market cap at 24.95M | caledoniaman1
06/2/2009 09:40 | dadlocst, Sorry I did typo thanks changed it also. ;) | cr4zyness
06/2/2009 09:37 | Cr4zyness - you have the market cap out by 35%. At 35p its got a £34m market cap. | darlocst
06/2/2009 09:02 | Looking at the numbers on YOU: 34million market cap 14million cash (year end????) PBT 4% up on real terms last interim so take that 3.12 million PBT interim RNOW competitor: 38.56 million market cap 7.8 million cash 5.7 million PBT final All depends on what YOU think is significantly is it 10%,20%,30%,40%,50%? | cr4zyness
05/2/2009 20:13 | RNOW doesn't look very well rewarded in terms of share price. wouldn't like to leave my money on that for a small glimmer of hope. YOU gave the worst outlook possible but states more contracts could start in the second half - give it a few months and a positive update will come out. | gambler99
05/2/2009 20:07 | Agreed - looks doomed. | loverat
05/2/2009 19:24 | Yet again a Company going down the acquisition route and so trying to expand too fast has come unstuck. Far better the Toluna model of small earnings enhancing acquisitions on top of tight control of existing business. Both RNOW and TOL look better than YOU. Profit warnings sometimes come in 3s. And why gamble on YOU when there are so many very oversold shares available where there have been no profit warnings? | kenmitch
05/2/2009 16:31 | well certainly some nice buys going in today.... shame the market makers weren't playing ball. Pretty dull really. | gambler99
05/2/2009 16:29 | Pug .... notice your use of the word 'most' ! It's all a gamble. For the record, I'm not invested here .... just answering your general question. | imabastard
05/2/2009 16:26 | might get interesting around 20p not before imo | pictureframe |
