Thanks for the update Topinfo. You've obviously been back in touch with the company.So far so good then, it does sound like a deal is going forward just wish that they would hurry it along.

Are we the only two people left with shares in York Pharma? It certainly seems that way. Hello is anybody there?

All the Directors are again out of the country so I am getting good vibes here. They arrived back on Friday as we now know and they then had a board meeting at 1300 hours Friday. As a result of that meeting it looks like they have headed back to the US, probably to sign papers on a done deal with ULU. Therfore hopefully we will hear very soon regarding the offer and it will be worth alot more than current share price when it was suspended based on ULU revcent rise.

I thought we would get it at 7am but it could come anytime during the day. I cant see how they cant issue an RNS knowing that were in US last week discussing T/O etc, even if its just another update and not the full takeover package.

I never thought this stock was trash. Just an unfortunate set of circumstances- an over enthusiastic ambitious CEO and the ultimate withdrawal of finance.Sadler trying to make amends for Bioglan I guess. What I don't understand is what happened to Abasol? Afterall the company was built off the back of this product and others. The product pipeline looks pretty impressive (on paper at least). Whatever the situation looking forward to seeing how this plays out, hopefully in the not to distant future!

It is a major shame that this stock missed the dash for trash, a phenomenon which has saved almost all stocks on their knees, on a temporary basis.

What did I say, the US talks must have gone well. That must make our offer much much more. It looks like things have gone well and maybe we will hear Monday.

A lot of buying in ULU between 6pm and 6.30. Someone bought 12,700 shares for $.49 each. Most know something surely.

Been watching ULU since the announcement - spiked today to $.49 from $.22 a 120% increase, have now fallen back to $.30. Speculative buying or news imminent?? Must be a conclusion soon to the talks either way.

Topinfo. Roll on next week, let's hope the news is positive. Incidentally, have you seen what's just happened to ULU shares today. They've just taken a sharp hike northwards. Not quite as good as AMC today but I sense something is afoot. Whatever the reason 'our' 23% would be worth substantially more. Here's hoping ...

BaronyBoy. You just dont know here. I only paid pence for mine so have some optimism but Ive still got a couple of grand tied up here so could lose the lot or make a bit, just hope its the latter of the two. Maybe we will get a market update followings tomorrows meeting or maybe we will have to wait until next week.

Seems to me ULU are similar to York. What ever happened to Abasol!?

Spoke to company and they said CEO and FD were in USA at present and are due back tomorrow. I also know that they are having a board meeting at 1300 hours 2moro so would imagine that will be to discuss what has occurred in the States. No other info was given obviously so just need to sit back and wait now and hopefully we will get positive news and all still have some value left here if takeover goes through, and or funding etc. Fingers crossed.!!!

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has agreed buy Stiefel Laboratories, the US skincare specialist, for $3.6 billion (£2.5 billion).

The Florida-based company, which is part-owned by Blackstone Group, the private equity house, will give GSK an enlarged dermatology business with annual sales of $1.5 billion.
