17/3/2006 18:01 | Well, maybe some renewed interest to follow after the offer for QA today. ;-)) QA reveals 4.3 mln stg bid approach at 1.5p/shr LONDON (AFX) - QA PLC confirmed it received a bid approach, valuing the training and consultancy minnow at just under 4.3 mln stg. The approach, pitched at 1.5 pence per share, may or may not lead to an offer, said QA in a statement. Shares in QA closed at 0.95 pence on yesterday, rising to 1.18 pence by the close of business today. simon.duke@afxnews.c sd/ra COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2005. All rights reserved. 09/3/2006 16:35 | It has been falling on small volume, I guess there is just an impatient seller out there. At this level, it looks attractive -- with cash equal to around 40% of market cap, and a profitable business on top(0.5m of cashflow to an enterprise value of 1.7m) that is growing relatively rapidly (16% growth last year, should see similar this year). | qwazi
09/3/2006 16:00 | On the slide yet again, any news/views to warrant the recent sell-off? Thanks | charmer1_23
27/2/2006 20:02 | bossmanuk - nice site (good work - I guess ;)) XPG won't find stability before its consolidation and subsequent institutional placings - the sole reason to consolidate is to attract further investment. I think they will be successful, but the process could draw out for several more months | dusseldorf
27/2/2006 18:28 | Hi Guys, New website just went live about 15 minutes ago. Take a look. Regards, BossmanUK | bossmanuk
22/2/2006 09:12 | Alistair, I have been keeping an eye on these for a little while. As you know I do work for xpertise but cannot divulge any info (So all other posters please do not ask any specifics). The Annual conference was very upbeat, continued growth etc especially in the Soft Skills sector. I am very happy with xpertise as an employer and can see a long term future for myself here. Despite the lack of confidence as reflected in the current share price, I believe that XPG are turning a corner. I can't say that we will see a price correction any time soon, but if next years results are as good as they are aiming for then we should see sustained northbound activity. (IMHO) Only. Let me just say this, If the offer drops I will be buying in. At the mo a 50% spread is ridiculous. Has anyone got the online Bid / offer? I can't be bothered to login to check for myself. Regards, BossmanUK | bossmanuk
21/2/2006 22:50 | Oh dear, just got in, whats happened here?..33% drop on net 500k sells?? Who's having a laugh here??? PapalPower Do you hold? Can you direct me to these articles? Thanks Alistair | alistair richmond
21/2/2006 19:50 | why the drop can any one say ?? | davidrigby
21/2/2006 14:22 | Well those "sell" rec's are starting to take effect and a bit of a mean spread to boot. ;-)) | charmer1_23
21/2/2006 02:16 | Now read two articles this evening saying sell or avoid XPG, will not be a nice Tuesday ahead for XPG holders I think. | papalpower
16/2/2006 07:38 | hmm, good improvements, but share consolidation will create uncertainty - 'to improve the marketability' of a stock generally means they want to raise some funds via a placement with institutions - normally at below what most of us consider to be fair value.... Will be a good idea long-term however | dusseldorf
16/2/2006 07:12 | Preliminary results are out today. Share consolidation of 1 new for 80 old sounds encouraging. Pleasing to see, albeit cost involved, that Management can walk away from a possible acquisition but does show pleasing aptitude to look for such deals. Still remember the days when these were once Dalkeith Inns but then that is showing my age. | liveinhope
08/2/2006 20:35 | Xpertise, one of the UK's leading IT Training companies, will be announcing results for the year ended 31 December 2005 on Thursday, 16 February 2006. | alistair richmond
