For Statoil to do what? Help us?

Are we saying, STL, have all the blocks around Bently.

This is a big mistake for XER, and in particular, RC.

He has allowed this to happen, for what ever reason.

It all goes back to, "would STL buy a doggy oil field, fro a guy in the pub"

Possibly, but not soon.

They have 2 major oil fields to develop, not including Bressey.

They are part of the to.....

licences

I wonder if we have been waiting for the issue of the new licences for things to liven up . Seems like Statoil Enquest and BP have tied up the area around Kraken Brassey and Bentley , Statoil have got more licences in this area yesterday and excite still hold Blackbeard . Bentley appears to be ahead of all the rest as we have flowed it and the excite technology clearly works . The savings on our technology [the knowledge with Kew and his engineers ] would undoubtedly be worth alot to Statoil and we must be coming to a stage hopefully within the next 6 months of positive movement from one of the big players towards a farm in or take over . Keep the faith GLA

I wouldn't worry about naked shorters mate, they sure as hell aren't worried about you.

If anyone is naked shorting this, they are playing a very dangerous game.

There are only 300m shares in issue, and a lot of them are very tightly held.

This really has been one of the darlings of the PI investment portfolio in the past, and is still watched by many. It will only take a sniff of a whisper that good news is around the corner for there to be a buying stampede.

I would not envy anyone in the position of trying to buy shares in quantity, to cover ones that I have sold, but never held in the first place.

Madness.

Bring it on! :-)

Amazing what even a HINT of news can do Rupert .... are you taking notes ?

Deep down, although I am deeply disappointed with the share price performance, I still find it impossible to grasp that an asset such as Bently can be ignored by the majors for so long.

At first I was swayed into the 'market maniuplation by majors / Socius / Bondholders' theory and then later this was compounded by the atrocious way in which AIM is simple an extension of the high street betting shop where people are allowed to short shares without even owning them.

I keep coming back to the poor management of this company simply because if this is TRULY a world class asset, then there WOULD and SHOULD be greater interest by a wider range of investors.

There isn't ... otherwise the share price wouldn't be languishing where is is ... despite the Oil supply / price war / Referendum bunk /Wood report et al.

Why is that I wonder ?

I am now firmly of the ipinion that the Market ( and by this I mean not only large institutions but also small PIs ) are now firmly holding back partly because of the poor manaagement by Rupert. It IS a factor ... not the only factor I'll grant you, but a factor nonetheless.

XEL needs a change at the top. Rupert should resign.
