With a pre-tax profit of £108,000 in 2007, followed by an interim profit of £187,000, I was expecting a positive year's outcome. But no. It seems that reorganisation has taken its toll. The costs incurred when a loss-making internet fire-risk business was sold, and in mothballing a biotech operation, appear to have overwhelmed profits

Looks like its only me buying and a few others like myself will enjoy the excellent rises again. This board was the same, very quiet last summer when we enjoyed the rises.

How sweet amd sentimental of Cancer6 to quote a newspaper columnist who was also long of LNX, another of Cancer6's ramps, and one which bit the dust earlier this year - like how many other of your ramps, Cancer6 ?

So what that WYT might be 'engaged in further corporate activity' at some stage - there's no evidence it will be at a premium to the current price, or that the deal will be any better for WYT shareholders than oh, let's say AMS, or Biotech, or Risksmart.

Ah, Cancer6, editing the facts to suit the ramp, as usual. When Wyatt zipped up in price in 2007, it was on the back of them claiming that Risksmart was zooimng ahead, AMS was developing, Wyatt Biotec/Fingerprint was going to go into trials and of course PES had moved into profit. Sure enough, for the year ended 31 March 2007, they announced a net profit of £120,000.

Since then, of course, AMS has been written off; Wyatt Biotech has been mothballed; and Risksmart has been handed over to its management, for a basic £1, and its debtor book for a fraction of its face value. Now, you may say that this is all good, and that PES is profitable at the operational level; but there isn't nearly as big a business left as you might have expected a year ago, the balance sheet is probably going to look quite twitchy, and by the time you get from operating profit to attributable level, the picture is unlikely to be quite so good.

But hey, it's Cancer6 in need of a few quid following his last ramp (PLW) going belly up; so why let facts spoil a good story.

An exhibition recently completed:

- PES is exhibiting at the Care Learning, West of England Care Providers Conference on 3rd July.

Bob Holt bought 125K at 13.50p last October and hopefully he'll buy more after the results at the end of the month which will kickstart the rises. For once, some shares are available in size (around 25K I think with etrade).

Never envisaged these to drop so low after last summer with the sell off on the small caps. Only value on AIM listing at current prices.

Been slowly tucking a few away myself. Think they are worth 20p myself at the very least. Only problem is you can only buy and sell in small numbers.
Sent the odd email to Wyatt and they always answer.

Recent News: Bob Holt made non-executive chairman of Mfuse. Mr Holt has been looking for a good acquisition for Wyatt for some time now and highlighted again in Interims and Finals last year + Trading statement in May 2008. Mfuse is privately owned and maybe that it could get acquired into Wyatt Group and in turn securing an AIM listing which would benefit both companies. This is more of a possibility after the recent disposal of Risksmart and Wyatt Biotech Limited with the focus on PES which has performed way ahead of expectations.

Mfuse PRESS RELEASE: April 2008
MFUSE APPOINTS BOB HOLT AS NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Mfuse (www.mfuse.com), the leading provider of mobile-enabling technology, announces the appointment of Bob Holt as non-executive Chairman. Bob's appointment will further strengthen the Board and follows the recent addition of Mark Blandford, the founder of Sportingbet, as a non-executive director.

Bob is Chairman and Chief Executive of Mears Group, in which he acquired a controlling interest prior to its flotation in October 1996. He has a 27 year track record in developing support service businesses, initially in a financial capacity and subsequently in general management.

In addition to his work with Mears Group, Bob spent 3 years as a non-executive director of Sportingbet, the online betting company. He is currently Chairman of Wyatt Group PLC, the AIM listed investment company. He is also a director of Unicorn Asset Management and RRF the investment fund. Bob was trained in accountancy and has built a reputation as an experienced acquirer and builder of service businesses for UK PLCs.

Mfuse was incorporated in 2002 to offers its clients a reliable and secure way to play, pay and transact using any mobile device. Specifically, its aim is to enable businesses to deploy mobile transactional services across multiple devices and in multiple territories.

Marcus Wareham, Chief Executive of Mfuse said: "By strengthening the Board and adding Bob's significant experience, it bodes well for the future and is illustrative of our ambition to become the leading operator in the mobile-enabling sector.

"Bob has a wealth of corporate knowledge and understanding that will be extremely beneficial to us. We are very pleased that he participated in the recent funding round and the Board looks forward to working with him as Mfuse continues to grow and expand its offering."
