LONDON--WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Monday operating company Ogilvy & Mather Marketing Communications Ltd. is buying the remaining 25% and 15% stakes in Shanghai Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and Shanghai Ogilvy & Mather Marketing Communications Consulting respectively--two joint ventures in China.
The company didn't disclose the purchase price of the interest.
Shares at 0910 GMT up 12 pence, or 0.6%, at 1,900 pence valuing the company at GBP24.3 billion.
