Very good day for me, almost up 1% on the port

Not so good for us today partly because VUKE went xd but also there were too many fallers amongst our 42 companies. In fact, we moderately under performed with only 26 Shares Up, 12 Down and 4 Unchanged. Banked some more profits mainly by reducing a tad on L100 (VUKE yesterday) so stock level now @ 61.8%.

More Down than Up.... But gains and losses were almost negligible, with most shares virtually unchanged.

Our shares moderately outperformed FTSE100 today with 20 Up, 19 Down and 3 Unchanged. Stock level is now 63.0%.

Dow has doubled since 2000 whilst FTSE about Flat.

Bit late tonight as new Combi Boiler installed today. We are knackered and we didn't even do the work. It seems that our portfolio market performed with 33 Shares Up, 8 Down and 2 Unchanged. Sold XAR as think results may disappoint so now Down to 42 companies. Stock level 63.5%.

Still fancy market has further upside so re-bought some PRU making 43companies and stock level 64.2%.

Markets always come back though. So if you ain't got time for the comeback then sure I agree with you. If I was near retirement I would share your view.
