With the FTSE250 and other domestic earners faring better today (partly due to the High Court Article 50 ruling and consequent rise of Pound), our shares have comfortably outperformed FTSE100 with 23 Shares Up, 30 Down and 6 Unchanged. Stock level Up to 53.5% following a doubling of L100 stake.

The FTSE100 correction is now into Day 17 and the (04.70%) decline to the earlier 6795 represents a (70.38%) give back of the 6654:7130 bolt-on Segment. That might be enough but I am concerned that DOW & SPX haven't really made much inroads into the correction of their prior Up Segments i.e. 17063:18668 for DOW and 1992:2194 for SPX. On balance, more downside to come methinks.

Yes, I didn't spot the Mar and Sep payments and VUKE's yield is about 3.85% annually. However, the capital is only Up 10.31% since the start of 2016 as opposed to 15.77% for L100. Of course, past performance is no guide to the future and VUKE is slightly ahead since the Feb lows if one includes dividends but, for now, I prefer the extra volatility and liquidity of L100 over the more income oriented VUKE.

Indeed, going forward, Trackers should suit my Add/Reduce style of investing quite nicely so thanks for highlighting them.

Gateside, try LSE:L100 but there is a L100 thread on ADVFN and the graph looks OK to me. What, more mining stocks!

I looked at VUKE as well but I assume these trackers are much of a muchness. From recent low (Feb 2016) to peak (Oct 2016), L100 has risen 31.3% (696p:914p) whilst VUKE has risen 28.5% (2467p:3169p) but the latter did pay a 39.6p dividend in June.

If miners fall back, could be tempted to add BRWM to my portfolio.

Added to quite a few today and, partly just for the Craic, bought initial tranche of a FTSE100 tracker (LSE:L100) so up to 59 companies and stock level now 51.4%.

Modestly outperformed FTSE100 today albeit with only 12 Shares Up, 45 Down and 2 Unchanged.

How can a country of 318 million people, give people the choice of Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump to run their country! Neither are fit to be President.Surely there is someone better out of all those people to run the country?

Thankfully my holding in RDSB is the largest in my portfolio, with my holding in BP being smaller.

FTSE extends its expected mini-correction to 15 days and has, so far, given back [47.48%] of 6654:7130...still fancy closer to 6800 in line with previous posts.

Our shares market performed today albeit there was some savagery amongst some dollar earners, Pharmies (Clinton fears) particularly and the BP. re-buy was ill advised. Overall we had 21 Shares Up, 34 Down and 3 Unchanged. Stock level now 48.3%.

Seems that way so took advantage of early weakness to re-buy initial tranche of BP. shares. Now 58 companies and stock level 48.0%.
