what do you think of the US Patent jakNife?

I spoke with somebody at length yesterday and it appears that only part of the patent story has been told on here. Apparently Bloomberg and Charles Schwab asked for a hearing to see why they could not appeal the US Patent Office decision and they failed again - even after resubmitting more evidence. From where I am sitting things appear to be looking quite good on this. Apparently less than 3% of patents survive this process so confidence is high. Hugo - can you find anything on this?

I went into Worldlink on the back of the patent. Nobody seems to want to talk about the patent or My Club Betting - everybody is talking about Worldlink all of the time. Lawyers appear to be spending millions - or am I going mad? Worldlink is never coming back according to you guys but what about My Club betting?

My letter says that Worldlink shareholders have got 20% of My Club Betting. Did you know this? Also why are you so pessimistic about the patent - do have have some inside information?

Will be if as anticipated the claim runs into the hundreds if millions could easily be over 10p a share which is higher than the suspension price?

Forget my question about the patent revenues. I have just re-read the letter. It's 5% of the whole lot - whatever that might be. Doesn't seem a lot.

I called their office yesterday after receiving a letter a few weeks ago. I ignored it at first until I read this page. Apparently Worldink shareholders were given 20% of The Betting Service - a new company - which was then renamed My Club Betting. did anybody get these shares? Also, Worldlink was given a percentage of any patent revenues. Does anybody know what this is? How can a company be suspended for so long?

Following the PTAB distraction, the actual case under Judge Sleet in the Delaware District Court is progressing into discovery. Early days.

Notice of Service of Core Technical Documents were served by the various Defendants at end of June 2015(documents provided to the patent owner via the Court).

Quest response due 30 days after that stating how it alleges each product infringes the patent claims. Any day now.

The most recent case docket I can see was late last week:

MOTION for Pro Hac Vice Appearance of Attorney Joel M. Melendez filed by Quest Licensing Corporation. Ordered by Judge Gregory M. Sleet on 7/16/2015.

"Pro Hac Vice usually refers to an out-of-state lawyer who has been granted special permission to participate in a particular case, even though the lawyer is not licensed to practice in the state where the case is being tried."

I would expect dockets relating to Quest responses next.

On this occasion, my knowledge of the reality of the current state of the patent trial (not the ludicrous 2+2 = 30) is all public domain and easily discoverable by any of you without a preset agenda. In fact, it is right under your noses.
