04/2/2016 14:42 | WKP has fallen because the Stockmarket has fallen. Simple. Workspace recently issued a very positive IMS stating.. "We continue to see strong levels of customer demand for our high quality space, with our new business centres letting up quickly, as well as solid growth in pricing levels across the portfolio. Enquiry and letting activity has also picked up significantly in the New Year, ensuring the business is well positioned for continued growth." If you look at other companies in the same sector..(eg..DLN, BLND etc..)despite also issuing positive statements they have also fallen with the general market along with WKP. When the general market recovers so will WKP and other solid growth companies, imo. These things happen from time to time...you just have to sit it out, or even top up if you have confidence in the company. ;o) | alroyrob
04/2/2016 12:15 | Nasty, looks like there is more going on here and something is seriously wrong. Good time to take the risk off the table imo . | fruitninja84
03/2/2016 18:53 | According to short tracker no shorts, well none at 0.5% or more.Don't know what's going on here, some pull back!.DD | discodave4
29/1/2016 09:07 | Its not been funny for a few weeks. Would there be heavy short selling going on? Seems very strange that a company who are meant to be in good financial state with good assets are dropping so quick. If it is a coerrection in price its a very dramatic 1 | irish_neris
28/1/2016 19:09 | No longer funny!DD | discodave4
28/1/2016 12:38 | I dont think the decline is to do with the report im more surprised that the report didnt have a more positive impact on the price. | irish_neris
27/1/2016 21:07 | Irish, don't think so, or at least hope not!.If you graph WKP against the FTSE350 real estate investment trust it may have got a bit ahead of itself and hopefully when markets settle and realise it's not a bear market it will recover - famous last words!. IMV the decline is not Company or sector related, and definitely not a reaction to recent results (the drop started 29th/30th Dec after hitting its 52 week high).DD | discodave4
27/1/2016 20:31 | The trading statement last week wasnt bad but the price descline has been very quick and sharp. Hate to say it but hope im wrong but I think it,ll fall into the 7s thursday | irish_neris
27/1/2016 19:13 | Below 800 is no longer funny... NAV was reported as 792 at November's half-year results so may be a "cooling" of views on capital growth. Only 5.3p/share cash on the balance sheet in November... equity raise time? Weird 'tho; doesn't the market think the economy is going to plough onwards and upwards, or what? | sogoesit
27/1/2016 18:20 | Havnt a clue tbh.DD | discodave4
27/1/2016 14:07 | Does anyone know the reason for the sharp decline in the share price, whilst other companies in the sector are all going up? Am I missing something? | jezwatson
26/1/2016 19:39 | More than double the number of shares bought to those sold and mm's drop it!.DD | discodave4
22/1/2016 21:30 | Wkp doesnt do big daily price rises. Small and steady which over the last few years can frustrate you on a day where other shares are taking over 5% rises | irish_neris
22/1/2016 15:34 | The quarterly statement looks 'as normal' - a continuation of the steady progress in rental income and occupancy. A gentle rise in share price today but, perhaps too optimistically, I would have expected a bigger rise? | huttonr
21/1/2016 21:01 | From today's sharecast, tomorrow's interims:In corporate earnings, real estate investment trust Workspace releases its interims. Numis analyst Robert Duncan said the company has had an "active third quarter", with planning consent secured at Hoxton and Stratford, disposals of four industrial properties, and two acquisitions in Wood Green and Surrey Quays."In terms of operations, we allow for 8% rental growth through the second half of 2016; current market conditions remain supportive of this assumption and while there is no direct comp to Workspace, recent rental evidence in Shoreditch from DLN and HLCL suggest upside risk to our numbers."DD | discodave4
08/1/2016 21:38 | Yep lost about 8% since 29th Dec when it tried to break 990...but failed by 0.5p if I recall. Was it ex div yesterday or today? (4.86p).DD | discodave4
08/1/2016 21:14 | Bit of a hammering this week. That 990 is a barrier | irish_neris
22/12/2015 21:42 | Merry Christmas one and all and a very prosperous 2016. | discodave4
07/12/2015 18:39 | Deutsche Bank Re-evaluates Real Estate Sector:Deutsche Bank also noted its top picks for the sector were Hammerson for its earnings growth and optionality on market rental growth, Workspace Group for its structural upside, and Great Portland Estates for its large special dividend. DD | discodave4
01/12/2015 19:08 | Liberum Buy 1100.DD | discodave4
14/11/2015 13:20 | Investor Chronicle yesterday a BUY for WKP.DD | discodave4
11/11/2015 12:01 | Looks like a shake out to me? Strong numbers and pipeline ahead. Pbt slipped but was due mainly to levels of property and overage valuation uplifts. Webcast was very positive imo. Panmure Lifts Workspace Group Target Price — Market Talk November 11, 2015 By Bloomberg 0938 GMT Panmure Gordon lifts Workspace Group’s target price to 1,074p from 1,010p after the property firm posted an increase in trading profit, dividend and valuation during the half year. Panmure notes competition is growing in the temporary leasing market but the models differ from Workspace in type of offer and target customer. The brokerage continues to expect the group to generate strong growth over the next two years, and maintains a buy recommendation | alroyrob
11/11/2015 10:14 | A strong set up numbers. Still holding. | macarre
11/11/2015 09:09 | Results look good as usual - but the share price action seems remarkably low - I expected at least a 50p rise but I was obviously too optomistic. | huttonr
10/11/2015 09:45 | Interims tomorrow should be good ? hxxp://www.cityam.co Booming London office demand drives vacancy rates to 15-year low "London office vacancy rates dropped to a 15-year low during the third quarter of the year, new research shows, as increasing competition made space in the capital increasingly difficult to come by. As the economic recovery gathers pace, demand for office space has surged, thanks to businesses feeling more confident about their future prospects". | alroyrob |
