01/10/2013 18:56 | The only reason I bought a couple of days back was because of the apparently large value that could be attributed to the Poplar development that got its own RNS. May be worth £1 on its own as far as share price is concerned. Good demand towards the end today. May it continue. | bones
01/10/2013 16:49 | NHP84 - PBT forecast is without 'Change in fair value of investment properties' which was £59M in last years accounts. Look at the annual report for details. | huttonr
01/10/2013 13:27 | Hi all! Can someone please shed some light on why March 2014 PBT forecast is estimated to be £19.7m when previous year was £76m? Thanks in advance! | nhp84
30/9/2013 09:25 | I have bought in here (@446p) as the housing development has to be worth a nine figure sum in retail terms once developed. Presumably, WKP would look to sell the land as a block to a developer like Berkeley now that it has planning permission. | bones
25/9/2013 13:08 | Today's announcement shows how WKP can boost its NAV through smart management. Great planning result and shares breaking out! Salty | saltaire111
24/9/2013 22:18 | Closed at 414.7p... ...on a day the FTSE250 was soaring. | purplebox
10/9/2013 06:02 | I don't hold here anymore - at over 400.0p i think thst it's to far over Nav and it will take very positive news to progress any further - perhaps the results in November. Also, it's quite exposed to market sentiment and if the market wobbles it may drop back below 400.0p which is the point I would buy back in, but only in a modest way. My 'property money' is in HSTN, PCTN and RDI at the moment. Purple. | purpleipad
09/9/2013 22:43 | Purple, can I ask why you think wkp is expensive? Expected increased profits and revenue, plus growing economy benefits company like this? | 11023154
09/9/2013 22:33 | Purple, can I ask why you think it's expensive? Expected increased profit and revenue, p/e around 8.....? Economy pick up companies like this very likely to benefit from it. | 11023154
09/9/2013 18:58 | Half year results due 12th November. Looks expensive at the moment. Purple. | purplebox
07/9/2013 12:47 | imo...great buy opp, tuck them away in the pension. even traders should get in here for short term. | 11023154
23/8/2013 17:23 | We've got to look at the sector, tho, to consider the prospects for WKP. Economic policy adopted by the Tories is starting to work. Business confidence is picking up and their various schemes and incentives which are designed to encourage and support the type of businesses which are, and will become, our customers are starting to make a real impact. local chambers of commerce cite increased business confidence and even the resi market is picking up. As we move towards the next election, the Tories will start to loosen their public spending grip in an attempt to buy votes and all this adds up to great news for WKP and the SMEs that are our tenants. I first bought WKP shares back in 2009 and it's been emotional! But I'm sooooo pleased I kept them, topped up during the rights and have bought more since. I've doubled my money in the process and I'm looking forward to it quadrupling. Salty. | saltaire111
16/8/2013 09:23 | Is interesting this one, is still a relatively cheap stock but the next month and beyond look nasty, think FTSE and DOW are looking at taking a hit, have to say it is slightly worrying now for equities, as FED will look to reduce QE but mixed in with good positive data for recovering economy.... | 11023154
15/8/2013 15:42 | Judging from today's market, I should have kept my mouth shut. | huttonr
15/8/2013 08:35 | Agreed the next month or so wil probably be a bit messy - Egypt, rumours on the US financial easing, housing bubble noise over here.... However, I think the backgound of gently emerging from recession will (should?) keep the market up. So, as to share prices and especially WKP, I don't have a high opinion on my ability to judge short term movements so I'm expecting to stay invested apart from, perhaps, a bit of money into some financials. | huttonr
14/8/2013 17:37 | Time to reload or time to take some money off the table, seems like markets are going to have a painful month or so.....thoughts? | 11023154
12/8/2013 13:33 | Thanks Hutton, will be interesting to see the run in to xmas, am seeing a slower and steadier rise till xmas and then hopefully wkp can capitalize on all the good data coming out the industry. | 11023154
09/8/2013 08:07 | 11023154 Answering your note, I think you are very optomistic on your £15 figure. I'm assuming a steady rise over the next few years as the current economic pointers seem good, I think that, perhaps, the share price has got a little ahead of itself so you may be right on the slight dip?? But there is a good stream of revamped properties on the way and the market for flats should continue for a while, so the the future looks good. Perhaps £10 in 2 years time? | huttonr
07/8/2013 14:35 | Looks like an share price which could double over next few years, return to days of £15 SP, however short term next few months am struggling to see much growth, is this a fair evaluation? Seeing correlation between WKP and UK and US indicies on downward trend, shall we be expecting a slight dip even on a share that appears cheap still? Ben | 11023154
25/7/2013 07:57 | Seems a very satisfactory interim statement - occupancy still rising above 90% and a rising rent roll. The reduction in lettings may be due to lack of space available so they should perhaps try to accelerate the new build programme? | huttonr
07/7/2013 21:04 | They are selling? didn't see that in the pipeline, I like wkp, seems slightly forgotten about.... | 11023154
03/7/2013 19:34 | I presume the high net debt of this co is usual for the business they are in? | mozart999uk
03/7/2013 15:42 | Possibly something happenig regarding Selling of 800 residential development site! | sightwatcher |
