28/3/2008 18:07 | Didnt WKS buy a stake in MTV? | barnetpeter
28/3/2008 15:42 | Hello supermum. How are you keeping? | jakass
28/3/2008 15:40 | chaskenn - 28 Mar'08 - 14:33 - 760 of 762 and goodtiming - 28 Mar'08 - 14:59 - 762 of 762 Off topic...A golden opportunity..... boy oh boy... if it was that easy we would all be rolling in it! I had forgotten all this ramping business in the AIM BBs... SM | supermum

28/3/2008 14:33 | I`m not going to tell, you what its all about, because it doesn`t bother me whether you subscribe or not, but i made $12000 in my first week--your choice, but it works | chaskenn
28/3/2008 13:33 | current outlook and future prospects, chairman's statement... | romin
28/3/2008 13:07 | where was that? | supermum
28/3/2008 11:02 | Would have added this morning, but for this.... 'At the Works International, it is understood that this subsidiary requires additional finance in order to be able to compete in the purchasing of more commercial product. This fund raising was begun in 2007 and there is cautious optimism that this should bear fruit in 2008.' Won't invest more until I know how much is being raised at what price. | romin
28/3/2008 09:56 | supermum: "very happy to be proved wrong in this instance" too true. same here. nice to see some healthly trading on this stock. it's about time. i was about to sell this, having held since the building of ironbridge :). i thought i'd wait until results. now, it's a hold. must confess, in this climate it's pleasant to see 77 percent increase on ANYTHING!! looking at the results. given that the last six months of theperiod were 'break even', and looking at the future strat....it would be fair to say that this company has every possibility of growth and profitability within the current trading year. Theo's decision to BUY shares, last year, is now abundantly clear and a good one. | dramatis
28/3/2008 09:47 | yes I watched This is England, but not because it was a wks film but a friend was in it! I added a few today and so averaged down, which is usually a stupid thing to do but it may mean that I can get out with a reasobable amount of grace. If it gets to my aveage price i will then put a stop on it and see what hapens. I am v cynical I know but would be very happy to be proved wrong in this instance. | supermum
28/3/2008 09:32 | Back to 2p hopefully. Anyone watched any of their films? - they are quite good! | topvest
28/3/2008 08:42 | Agreed. Results were better than I feared,in the present economic climate. Also agree with Supermum: the next results will be worth watching....My patience has worn very thin with these but I suspect now is not the time to part with them. WKS could be a nice [small] punt for a new holder over the next year. I'll continue to hold my breath..... | don carter
28/3/2008 08:29 | Exactly, good results. Realistic expectations. They have some good films and should be able to make some money going forwards. Share price fall was obviously due to a bit of tax planning. | topvest
28/3/2008 07:32 | The results are very fair. They would have made a profit excluding the payoff to the last CEO. Costa seems a much more vigourous chair. The offer price of .9 to 1p is about the cash held. Will the directors now buy more stock? I reckon they will. Still an AIM dog though. But what isn't in this mkt? Some of the falls are incredible. | barnetpeter
28/3/2008 07:31 | and if you believe that you believe anything... umpteem million pumped into the company and still it goes downhill. The REAL results are what happens to the price, in REALLY successful companies the price goes up... so the next episode will be worth watching. This was the first AIM stock I have been in for about 4 years and all I can say I rue the day I ever bought this stock. | supermum
28/3/2008 07:20 | Results are out. "During the last six months the Company has been at a break-even position after losses of £134,000 in the first half of the year, retained losses of £598,000 for 2006 and of £1,284,000 in 2005." Looks like they are finally getting there. | zedder
28/3/2008 07:06 | its another AIM dog saying woof woof.... gotcha! | supermum
27/3/2008 20:24 | The Chairman was buying shares just before he stepped aside and so may not be that ominous. Was looking good at the interims, and they have raised c£1.3m at 3p in the year to invest in their film catalogue. Weakness in the price could be due to tax positioning before the end of the year. We will find out soon, I guess! | topvest
27/3/2008 20:09 | Yep, looking a real pig isn't it. Locked in really. Dr Cripin moving from his post looked ominous :-) Results tomorrow I think - a Friday - sums this b'tard up I'd say. Can't help thinking I've been bent over and punished here well and truely! CR | cockneyrebel
27/3/2008 19:50 | yeah.... to get out! | supermum
27/3/2008 16:43 | Added some more today. A bargain price at close to a penny I think. Anyone else looking here? | topvest
20/3/2008 09:26 | Another Aim stock headed for the bin? WKS has had over £2 million in new cash from a placing and Costa Theo yet is now worth half of that. | barnetpeter
02/3/2008 09:42 | tend to agree jasp, this is definitely looking good value. I have picked up a few recently and expect to see progress in the share price shortly. A great turnaround story imo. | saywellxxx |
