20/5/2016 10:26 | Finding something hard to swallow. Neo from the Matrix is having trouble pushing the Blue pill. That is because it was 775 mg and 22mm long - about the size of an almond Not only hard to fit down ones throat it is also difficult to manufacture and supply. The only approved supplier under the Moxatag NDA has gone bust. The Paddys who make it couldn't get any more funding. This leaves Blue Pill Pharma Co Vernalis VER, lucky number 13 position in the WPCT, with only promotional stock of their headline Drug. ...rummages around for the Red pill. | liquidkid

PURP 269 So Mr "Better Call Saul" Bruce wasn't the only insider/related party manipulating the market price. It was none other than 30% holder WoodForDunit! calling it a temporary price weakness! 06/5/2016 15:41 | A bit off topic as this is not a WEIF thread but would somewhat explain the comeback of the premium. shows how small time WPCT is becoming. 04/5/2016 19:33 | All of this making a lot more sense, Camberley/Broadmoor = A well known Savile haunt. Did Jim fix it for you LK to milk a cow blindfolded or was it a trip to the set of It's a Knockout? Either way you should probably seek some help, you appear to be a bit mental. | prewar
04/5/2016 19:09 | UH????? "evil shorters....ugh creepy, stamp on them hate them" Hmm, typically psychopathic... Ah, I've just twigged: Broadmoor Hospital is but 4 miles away from Camberley as the bogeyman flies. Explains it all, eh! BTW I do hope old Pierre Simon Laplace did not get paid for articulating what every five-year-old knows. A pompous and utterly boring truism. | kpo115
04/5/2016 16:35 | I'z commissioned to type up the monthly explication for the fanatics so that The Gru could have a day off from all the hard yakka they've put in over the last couple of months. They've maxed the plastic partying like 1999 and all getting into some serious rainbow dust unquoteds. So last time it was Afried Mined that shot too the moon causing the NAV to levitate the price above the stinking sewage level. That seems to keep the sewer rats happy clinging on to the floaters in the portfolio. So April started with a parade of fools in that Afried Mined was in the top 5 350 fallers with a 20% drop even after FY numbers which were diabolical. After 10 years of patiently waiting, hoping for something, anything, to come good all they've done this year is ask for moar and moar money. And doing so with more and more elaborate structures creating a whole new asset class - 'Other Bets' Category, long shot investments. This biggie this month was PurpleRainonBrickick firing it into a top10 holding. but we can't blame evil shorters for the squeeze as we control all the shares so those evil little roaches aren't anywhere to be seen, ugh creepy, stamp on them hate them. The denouement will come soon when actual figures are produced if there are any. Nothing else to comment on that hasn't been already been posted on here. Except this one - our old muckers Duff & Phelps, who do us some numbers, been pretty busy drooling all over BHS so may have not had the time this month to pull some number balls out of the hat. On the theme of charging for research and Approximate knowledge this quote sums it up: "What we know is not much. What we do not know is immense "- Pierre Simon Laplace | liquidkid
03/5/2016 14:26 | There are so many anacoloutha in Liquid Bowels' latest rabid post that I didn't really understand any of it. However, knowing his peerless reputation for correctly forecasting WPCT's fortunes (hee hee) I am so frightened that I have decided to sell all my holdings. I counsel all other holders to do likewise and invest, as LB advises, in VCTs, which are all totally safe. That way you can follow LB's strategy of never making a profit, because then you won't have to pay any capital gains tax! PS I think this shows that rabies is an endemic risk to all Lycra-clad cyclists in Camberley. PPS Hold the front page: cyclist found lying on road with foam on his mouth on the Hog's Back. Then tries to bite paramedics! | pete_bane

27/4/2016 22:31 | As a lifelong Watford fan I was also pleased at the verdict. Fans were treated appallingly in the 80's and this was the nadir. As a more general point let's try and get this thread back to adult conversations? No more name calling from here on onwards plz. | dr biotech
27/4/2016 20:43 | I'm a little bit of a fraud in that I don't actually live in Liverpool. However I have a very special reason why I have been a Liverpool fan since early childhood which I cannot disclose here. Certainly one of the joyous thing about the city is that the red and blue sides can come together when it matters, with the obvious occasional exceptions. I do know from true Red Scouser friends that they highly appreciate the support from the other side of the park. This shows that the exceptionalist Liverpool pride is fully justified. Let's hope for more normal Derby games next season. (I don't like to stigmatise Martinez, because I thought Rodgers was, on the whole, brilliant and his departure showed the horrible power of malign social media which is so often replicated on ADVFN, alas) | pete_bane
27/4/2016 15:09 | Pete (OT) bet you pleased about yesterday's verdict Well done (from the other side of the park) | toffeeman
