Wilbury, so sorry to hear of your sad news. As others have said, events at WBN are put into perspective.

It crosses my mind that if the Numpties have reached an agreement to pay Moyes and Co $425k - and these are not the sort of people who spend money gratuitously - then there must have been merit to the claim.

The claim was for unpaid royalties which, I think, was 3% of turnover. So if they paid $424k, that implies unreported income of $14m. If so, where has that money gone? Was it under reporting by Kappa and, if so, wouldn't that be fraud? Does WBN have a claim against Kappa?

Deepest condolences wilbury, I cannot imagine your anguish at such an event.
You will need to stay strong for a long while - so hang on in there.

Hi Gis, not too bad, managed to get on my exercise bike today only a few minutes at a time but I am hoping it will help. Overcast and drizzle today but looks like it will be a scorcher next week :-)

Morning, weather again. Drizzly here today and very overcast but warm and humid. Expecting the sun to break through around 11 am.

Can't be depressed over this, life is to live and money isn't everything although it helps.

You never know they might give us all our money back! Joking but a nice thought, have a good day all... Gis

Hi cliveas thanks for that. I have heard many say it's really lovely. We have hired a car for a week, staying for 2 weeks near Skala.

I don't know what to say about all this, I'm in complete shock. Will I have enough left for the Sunday paper?

Gis

I have been to Kefalonia and it was beautiful and quiet.Stayed in Lassi near to the capital.Very relaxed pace.Hire a car to see it all roads are almost deserted and beaches fantastic.

Harold never give up is my motto!

Can't believe how long we've been here or how badly we've been treated and now next to nothing left!

Just got my invitation to the AGM on 13th July. Will they have anything worthwhile to report? Very much doubt it.

Good morning all, still can't put any weight on it, it all seems to be in my thigh, Mrs F getting a bit fed up now, I think she's thinking of having me put down and getting a younger model :-(

Morning, lovely sunny day down here in the South West, not a breath of air and just a few wispy clouds.

Oh I don't blame her bloke, cruising is great but it's the waistline that suffers. My other half put on nearly 2 stone in 15 days! It's lethal. The Oceana is a lovely P & O ship and we sailed around the Caribbean in style.

Come on Woburn, I want to book another!

How's the leg Fut?

Have a good day all.. Gis

Good to hear you are all in action, patience is the motto Fut you will be up and about in time. The Greek tragedy is ongoing, I was considering a holiday in Greece but Mrs wants another cruise, the sacrifices I make to watch the Tour de France on the TV, cruise it is

Out of interest, I attended " show of hands" concert which dates my musical tastes.
London weather fine. air quality b. Awful.

Never been to Greece and it now looks like the blasted politicians will cobble together some sort of deal to keep the Greeks in the Euro. Pity as the Drachma would have meant fantastically cheap holidays.

Game of golf today but Mrs L has me under the cosh tomorrow cutting grass.

Afternoon all, no nothing Harold from numpty central, I asked them to have the decency to reply to my emails but still nothing. When you say "back into the swing of things" I think you mean back to the beer?

Hope that leg gets better soon Fut, it must be improving?

Lovely down here today but it came over very dark around lunchtime but now the skies have cleared.

Off the Kefalonia in just over a week, anyone been?

Bye for now....Gis

Evening all. Just back from a week in St Maxine on the Cote d'Azur. Mrs L and I had a wonderful time but drank far too much rose wine. Weather, food and wine all excellent. One slight hitch was the French taxi drivers protesting at Nice airport closing the access which cost a lot of people their flights.

Just sipping on of my beers - a clone of Bateman's XXXB - excellent - as is my version of Hop Back Summer Lightning..

Golf tomorrow and then the garden so back into the swing of things.

FUT, glad to hear that you are hanging in there.

Gis - nothing from Numpty Central then?

Weather not to bad here this evening - no wind so the 28 turbines overlooking Barnstaple were not working. It was crazy for the government to subsidise these versus championing carbon capture. Had they have done so we would still have had a coal mining industry with all of the jobs that would have generated.

Hi Gis, healing very slowly :-(. Not as quick as I had hoped. It has been a nice sunny day here.
