Good morning all, got through the night ok, seem to sleep in one hour spells. Going to the loo is a laugh wheelchair to the loo (won't go through the door) transfer to a dinning room chair, slide across the floor and then on to the loo. Oh joy! I am managing to stand with the help of the back of chair then I try and get my leg working (my leg is starting to swell up but I can't get it elevated. Moan over. The sun is out and a bit breezy.

Good morning all, 6 days and I still can't get into bed sleeping (trying) to sleep in an office chair, not a happy Chappy! I can now stand with the help of crutches and put a bit of weight on my damaged leg. Thanks for the good wishes.

Fut, sorry to hear of your misfortune.

I hope that you mend soon. Any chance of nursie and the blue pills making a comeback?

Oh Fut poor you. I've fallen over many extension leads in my life, being married to a builder. We always have one around. It will take time to heal but I'm sure you have lots to do on your iPad. Perhaps you could find a couple of strong people to lift you down the stairs so you can escape. Look after yourself GisSounds like you could do with some of Harold's beer!

Evening all. Had a bad fall in the kitchen Thursday tripped over an extension lead, I have torn the mussels in the top of my leg a cant put any weight on it, having to be wheeled around in a wheelchair. Living on the first floor of an apartment I can't get out. :-(

Morning Pete, I'm not even going to read it! How depressing, I could kick myself for investing with this company, nearly swore then but didn't.

I think I might email them again, just to let them know I'm still here.. probably get a telling off but I think as a shareholder I have the right to know how things are going..

Pete, thanks. That cheered me up no end.

I wonder who is getting their backsides kicked as a result of this?

The Numpties demonstrate at every turn that they know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Headache Gis - you sure that you are not a secret brewer yourself?

3 pints a day is 90 a month plus shandy for Mrs L and friends who drop by and it soon adds up so I brew up twice a month. Not quite yet in liver transplant and rehab territory.

I enjoy trying different recipes. Tried the Hop BAck Summer Lightning this evening and its still cloudy so needs to mature. Showing some promise though.

I need to drink as it dulls the pain of the losses that I have incurred in WBN at the hands of the Numpties.

How many pints do you consume in a day Harold? It's a wonder you know what your doing lolCloudy down south again and another headache. Perhaps I should move to a more settled climate.

What a miserable day.

Still, planned next week's brew. The ESB clone worked very well so will do another 50 litres and will add Bateman's XXXB. It was on tap at my golf club last week and was superb so will also do 50 litres of that so a full day of brewing ahead.

HI Gis. Welcome back. Mrs L is addicted to "Home and Away - A Place in the Sun" and we are seriously looking at retiring abroad while we are still active.

However, The Numpties have put a HUGE hole in my retirement funds.
