Morning all. Well Harold you seem happy with your pint but I can't forget all that money I've lost. It's disgraceful. I will be contacting them today it's about time we heard something.

FUT, my missus is a wonderful person who has put up with me for nearly 45 years but she can moan for England when she gets the hump.

What a day - its been blowing a gale and, occasionally, snowing. Panels blew out of the greenhouse and I had to put them back in the driving snow.

Still, its dark now and I am sampling the Old Hooky and Exmoor Gold which, on first evidence, are both very acceptable and will get better as they condition.

The 50 liters of Youngs Special is bubbling away and the plan is for a Bateman's or Hop Back in aboutr 2 weeks.

The Numpties may have wrecked our pension prospects but, at 25p a pint, I can forget about it.

Wilbury, rabbit is a very underestimated meat. It is delicious if cooked properly and very low in fat. I had wanted to keep some and breed them for the table but Mrs L put her foot down hard.

She is a very unhappy bunny anyway re the beer brewing. As part of the process one needs to boil the "wort" for 90 minutes with the hops then cool it quickly before pitching the yeast for it to ferment.

To achieve rapid cooling, I get Mrs L to stand by the boiler as the temperature drops by about 15 degrees when she sees the mess.

Gis, I was brewing all day and he was about the garden watching. I had my chance and now that Mrs L is his friend I have no chance. I now have 50 liters of Young's Special fermenting.

Still, spring is coming and so are the rabbits. I love bunny stew.

Evening all - been taking a break.

I just can't see a way forward here to be honest. An unresolved dispute plus the appetite for E&P a distant memory due to the collapse in the oil price makes things look pretty bleak.

On a bright note, the pheasant in our garden has been named by Mrs L as "Lucky" as I have taken three pot shots and missed so it has earned a reprieve. Sorry Gis, couldn't resist the thought of roast pheasant.

Planning a 50 litre brew tomorrow - Young's Special. The Timothy Taylor Landlord turned out rather well - down to the last few pints - and have Hook Norton Old Hooky and Exmoor Gold conditioning for imminent sampling.

Morning everyone. Take the money wilburylover1. No doubt about it. Chances of getting anything back here are virtually nil imho. Can't see that you would gain anymore by not taking the money anyway? I imagine you will have decided by now though?
