Fut,Harold if you are listening I just recieved a letter this morning from my broker this is how it read.

Dear Mr ....

I write concern your purchase of 32.216 Woburn Energy traded on 18th June 2013 for Settlement 16th July 2013.

The Market Maker that we purchased the shares from on your behalf, have been unable to deliver the shares to us.

Although there has been no official announcement from the London Stock Exchange, the shares are no longer trading, and the Market Maker have advised that they will probably be unable to deliver the shares for your purchase.

I have spoken with the Market Maker, and they have agreed in principle to cancellation of your purchase.

Kindly confirm in writing to me if you would like us to agree to cancel your trade.

A copy of the oridginal contract note for the purchase is inclosed.

Now has anyone else recieved anything like this and what shall I do.

Wait and see what Woburns future plans are which will end up losing all.
Wait and see if Harolds idea comes to fruit.
Or cancel this trade and get my money back which is not much £365.65 but at least something.

Morning Fut real frosty morning but the sun is out.
I'm hoping for OXS arbitration news to come soon (which could be anytime) if they win which I reckon they will should put a nice big smile on my face.

Yes Fut same here the longer it goes on the more disappointing it gets. Its sad how companies rope you into buying shares on the pretext of getting you a good return on your money and then goes bad on you and they could not give a dam or thats how it seems.

We know how to have fun here in North Devon.

Just worked out that a pint is costing me 25p to brew. However, I bought the malt from the home brew shop in 3 kg bags but will get the next lot wholesale in 25kg bags so it will bring the cost down to below 10p a pint.

Anyway, went off piste there - the weather is diabolical here. Blowing a gale and light showers. Playing in a golf competition tomorrow and the winds are meant to be stronger and belting down with heavy rain.

Ho hum - roll on Spring.

Cliveas, I have 40 pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord; 40 pints of Exmoor Gold and 45 pints of Old Hooky fermenting and bubbling away. These are CAMRA clones but pretty near to the real thing.

So as to avoid the prospect of being labelled a "lush", I am brewing most of this for a village fete to raise money.

I will go back to the Fuller's ESB recipe again but will first try out Hopback Summer Lightning and Young's Special and the next brews in early Feb.

Wonder what the Numpties are up to? The accounts will be out later and we will be able to see how much Sir TB was paid to look after our interests. I wonder why they keep him on as there is no longer any activity?

FUT, sounds like a good way to spend the day.

Just had a break from the computer - Mrs L is getting twitchy about the new planting year and what to grow.

And tomorrow is a big brew day. Planning 50 litres - 25 litres of Exmoor Gold and 25 litres of Hook Norton Old Hooky.

As regards Woburn, the price of oil is an issue. Small AIM companies are unlikely to be able to raise capital and so I imagine that there will be a lot of consolidation in the market. But, hey, what do I know?

Morning All - just back from Xmas in Vienna. A wonderful time.

Been a tad stormy while we were away and I spent a frosty start to the day recovering polycarb from various parts of ours and neighbour's gardens that had blow out from the greenhouse.

The home brew was excellent last night and I will start another batch off tomorrow. I will have a go at Timothy Taylor Landlord this time.

Here is wishing everyone a fantastic New Year.
