Afternoon Harold so you've fitted out all the worktops in the greenhouse and set out all the trays for seeding I have just been helping my neighbor trim some tree branches mind you I was only supporting his ladder.

Dubai at this time of year is quite nice as regards the weather and I don't imagine that they are over taxing their brains on Woburn to any extent.

We had a small respite from the rain this morning but it has now returned and looks set in for another few days.

Still, not to worry, as Mrs L has two job lists - one for outdoors for when it is not raining and another for indoors for when it is. Currently sanding down the stairs ahead of painting.

I bet the Numpties don't have problems with the weather in Dubai where they are nesting.

When will this weather give us a break? The garden is now starting to look like Passchendaele. When will the Numpties remove their digits from their derriers? When will I play golf again in the sun? (Thanks Numpties - if you had of done your jobs competently then Mrs Larwood and I could be taking a break somewhere warm now).

Sounds delicious. The numpties are probably stirring the cauldron as we speak few bats, spiders, leg of toad it will all go in with a nice chicken broth and they can chant to see who's lives they can ruin next.

Played reasonably in the monthly medal today in a strong wind and currently second with a net 67. I also had a birdie on a par 3 so should win a few bob and get my handicap cut by a shot.

Back to the garden tomorrow.

I have 3 "Artists" traveling down from my old club to play golf today and tomorrow. I am sure that they will be trying to rid the West Country of cider this evening.
