'Here are my conclusions on this small study. The large cap miners will continue to underperform Gold through the end of the bull market. However, they will outperform when the next cyclical bull begins and probably soon. However, they ultimately will underperform over the next five years. During a cyclical bull market a large group of junior producers can outperform Gold strongly. You only need to be able to pick the right large group. The better a stock picker one is, the more one can outperform. Clearly, if you are stock picking this sector you should never dabble in the large cap miners. If you want safety than go with bullion and try to find a mutual fund that has a track record of picking the right stocks. If you want to speculate than you need to train yourself to be an excellent stock picker or find someone who can help you learn'

with gold mining companies having suffered pricewise, this may be
a good strategy and Richard Pouldon may be the man to do it imo

Very quiet on here! If you don't know, Shares Mag has done a double pager on WSBN as a gold explorer to watch. And that is exactly what I'm doing. I expect many are doing the same and have also got positions in SXX, hoping that history will repeat itself. GLA & Happy New Year

I see that Bruce Rowan has a stake in these through his PLUS quoted investment vehicle, Gledhow Investments. Not sure what he paid, but probably in the original AIM admission.

poulden will not have set this up without a specific early target property in mind.in fact i would be surprised if there is no news by end august.
early days,and it is a punt,but imo a worthy punt based on his record alone

What exactly do they have to talk about ?

£500k isn't going to pay for any meaningful exploration and they are on the hunt for more 'assets' which begs the question aren't the current assets good enough ?
