04/6/2008 11:07 | At WIN's Annual General Meeting today, the Chairman Richard Joyce will make the following statement: 'During 2008 we have continued to make good progress in the transformation of WIN to becoming a leading provider of end-to-end, rich media mobile solutions and in particular in the provision of managed services. Over recent weeks, we have launched our video-on-demand services for a Tier 1 leading mobile operator in Germany via the Group's 100% owned subsidiary, Quattrocomm, and also message-terminated billing services to clients in Greece. Our newly acquired business, Pocket Group, has also been selected by Sony Ericsson to manage the music content on their recently updated PlayNow Arena service. Originally launched in 2004, PlayNow Arena is an on-handset mobile media service that offers ringtones, games, music and wallpapers across 32 countries. Initially the new service has been launched in four countries, with further territories being added during the rest of the year. Whilst these new managed services and products will have little impact on the first half they are expected to provide an increasing contribution over the second half of the year, as should our enterprise services business which has continued to grow. As expected, our premium rate business has declined modestly, whilst our on-SIM business has fallen at the rate anticipated. The board is confident that the results in the second half will reflect the introduction of our new services and products and positive contributions from our recent acquisitions'. | 8trader
03/6/2008 19:51 | and a tick up - starting to feel better | value viper
03/6/2008 15:38 | Well dont sell this one VV, keep the winners, bin the losers. mm's yet again charge somebody a 2p premium and this time for just 2k. It will happen....one day :-)) | 8trader
02/6/2008 11:26 | had a pop at financials recently - ouch | value viper
02/6/2008 10:41 | 137.5-142p online 10k v 2.5k. Surprised to hear you are doing bad, most traders seem to be doing well with the oil and gas sector a godo place to make money recently. | 8trader
02/6/2008 10:37 | good man 8. I am taking a bit of a beating elsewhere at moment and reducing my overall exposure is on my mind. i hope however that this one is gonna be helpful sometime soon ...........!! | value viper
02/6/2008 10:34 | VV. I departed from Ros 2 weeks ago at 27p because i lost patience and today it hit 33p bid and may go higher, this mistake will not be repeated here, it's just a matter of time when they decide to move. | 8trader
01/6/2008 21:11 | VV. Are the mm's taking a chance running a short book ? If not then where have they suddenly found all this stock to sell, got to be around 100k in buys in the last few weeks versus no sales. In a lightly traded stock like Wnn they will come unstuck if it continues, because of their relucatance to move it i reckon when there is a rise it will be a explosive one, i see this trading over 150p at some point this month. | 8trader
01/6/2008 11:08 | yes, this is proving to be a real patience / waiting game - agreed. occasionally i think should i sell ? (thru boredom really) but still hanging in there. i remind myself of the very attractive fundamentals. | value viper
30/5/2008 14:44 | Wonder when the mm's are finally going to let this one go. Seems to be everyday 10-20k is getting bought, not seen a sale for ages and the mm's still wont move up. | 8trader
27/5/2008 16:03 | Even better now (136-140p) 137.5k bid for 15k v 140p offer for 1k online. | 8trader
27/5/2008 11:12 | Yet another 10k buy at a large premium and no move. Taking the michael ! | 8trader
23/5/2008 17:59 | mm's up to their old tricks again today. 20k and 13k trades at 143p and they drop the offer to 140p. | 8trader
22/5/2008 00:36 | THIS COMPANY IS GOING DOWN THE PAN, TERRIBLE SPREAD NO VALUE HERE WHATSOEVER | turion
16/5/2008 11:48 | Yes maybe there is. Well at least they have done the right thing and raise the bid 5p from the low. Dont know who they are trying to shake out, cant see any pi's selling out this low. Try 200p and i'll reconsider :-)) | 8trader
16/5/2008 11:12 | well let's hope one of these days they get caught out - perhaps there is someone still selling here too like at ISG ? | value viper
16/5/2008 11:09 | I know i dont come across as patience VV but in such a illiquid stock we've had some decent buys, 6k,3k,10k,4k so it would be nice to see them play fair. Another delayed 8k buy, maybe they do have stock but 2 of them have just switched much higher so that's a start although i dont hold my breath that they will play more games. | 8trader
16/5/2008 11:05 | patience 8 - confident all will come good on this one (famous last words) | value viper
16/5/2008 11:00 | More manipulation, another buy full offer and they once again drop the price. Can only buy the 1000 nms online...disgusting tactics by the mm's in this stock. | 8trader
12/5/2008 15:26 | Not sure why somebody has just paid 148p because it's 144p online with selftrade. Once again the word generous is needed in a sarcastic manner, the mm sells at 148p and bids just 135.4p currently. | 8trader |
