15/9/2011 06:44 | Notification from MDY this morning that we have bought them out of Trust William. Let's hope Fred has big plans to grow the site. | deswalker
05/9/2011 14:44 | Spoken with Ran and happily they do intend holding their AGM in March next year, seems a long time to wait though. | playful
05/9/2011 12:21 | It is my understanding Public limited companies (plcs) must hold an AGM within six months of their financial year end. If we have any problems with Fred on this score we simply force the AGM once we muster the 5% required. | playful
01/9/2011 18:40 | Strange, I can find no quote or trades on the share matching facility. To me it looks like the Daily Mail forgot to remove it from its listing. Cheers for the info anyway. | deswalker
01/9/2011 18:33 | This was shown in the Daily Mail today at 2p Performance since delisting seems bad news for shareholders ..... better to have remain listed ..... more visability | buywell2
01/9/2011 18:26 | I had a quick conversation with the FD today. Here's what was discussed ... He's targetting the end of October for the accounts to 31 March 2011. The business has been stabilised following the sale of the Pharma division. The retail environment remains tough for everyone not just RNSM. There appears to be some confusion about whether they need to hold an AGM. He seemed to think it wasn't required since the delisting but I don't know where he gets that from. The holding company remains a PLC and as far as I can tell an AGM is a requirement. I suggest other shareholders consider getting in touch to enquire about this as the more voices the better. I will be emailing the managment in due course to clarify this and I'd be grateful if others would consider it too. So far it appears from the outside that management are doing a good job in continuing the process started by Ivor Harrison in turning the business around, but I do still have concerns about just how honorable their intentions are towards ALL shareholders. Let's hope they have the integrity to do the right thing and remember that they are running the business on behalf of all shareholders. Des | deswalker
07/8/2011 16:45 | Havent looked in for some months but just thought I would say hello and confirm that my remaining modest holding still exists per the header. Not close enough to make any sensible judgement on how things are going but the improved branding/marketing focus and pharma sale are presumably positive in a longer term sense. Anyone agree or have other views? | brumont
05/7/2011 11:39 | Great news to have sold the pharma division and good to see movement on the TW front which is going as I expected. Just imagine if they had someone to run that site cost effectively and with the required experience. Hardly surprising of Fred to give Ran the NED position, but it made me smile anyway. | playful
05/7/2011 10:37 | On 31 March 09 this division had a NAV of £4.029m. On 31 March 10 this division had a NAV of £1.908m. On 30 September 10 this division had a NAV of £1.259m. Based on its troubled performance I guess one could speculate that we will end up getting paid somewhere close to the NAV on 31 March 2011 for this division. Bearing in mind the last recorded NAV per share on 30 September 2011 was 18.85p then it looks like this disposal will result in a penny or so being removed from this figure IMO. Good news anyway. | deswalker
05/7/2011 10:18 | We have some news. Disposal of the Pharma division .... | deswalker
30/6/2011 06:40 | MDY have just released some results. They have entered into a heads-of-agreement to sell their stake in Trust William for a nominal sum and hence to stop funding that (presumably loss-making) business. I can't see the buyer being anyone but RNSM which would at best lead to a concerted effort to turn it around and at least lead to a clean up the ownership structure of the TW business. | deswalker
17/6/2011 22:35 | who are perloffs? don't remember seeing them as major holders when Co delisted. K. | kramch
17/6/2011 15:32 | Does anyone know what perloffs current holding could be ? | envirovision
17/6/2011 14:21 | Spoke to J P Jenkins; still indicating 3p to deal, but no trades gone through. Willing sellers but no buyers. 31-3-11 Accounts should be out soon (end July in '09). K. | kramch
23/4/2011 11:10 | Des, only their customers received the letter so thought I'd do my bit for investor relations as Fred doesn't seem to bother. | playful
23/4/2011 09:57 | Playful, thanks for this. Did they write to you as a customer or as a shareholder ? My shares are all still in nominee form so I'll always be slower to be notified of shareholder communications if indeed that is what it was. Just curious. Des | deswalker
23/4/2011 08:51 | I received notification from Ransoms this morning that the Consumer Healthcare division has been transferred to Optima Consumer Health Ltd which is our wholly owned subsidiary. The letter also outlined the reasoning as below: "This change is a positive step for the business to re-capture trade and consumer trust in our natural health food based products that are so familiar with customers and consumers, many of whom are still looking for the 'Optima' logo on the packaging and not recognising 'Ransom' as the same product. We know that this has been a frustration shared and raised by many of our trade customers As a result of this change, you will start to see the Optima logo being re-introduced on our product packaging, strengthening the association our customers already have with our portfolio and strong heritage in the health food arena. Please rest assured that our commitment to you remains unchanged and we look forward to strengthening our business with you under the Optima Consumer Health division." Fred is probably right to take this action as Optima is our most valuable asset and by increasing brand awareness will inevitably increase brand value. | playful
01/4/2011 16:07 | Thks playful. Sounds like good news ! | deswalker

14/3/2011 15:33 | It doesn't have a current price. The best you can do is register with JP Jenkins (link in the header) which is instant and takes two minutes. Then click on Unlisted Shares and then find WR Holdings at the bottom of the list. Click on that and you'll see the info with a "mid price" of 3p. But there is no Offer or Bid price for buying and selling respectively and I guess the 3p is just a place holder. If you want to buy or sell shares then you need to speak to JP Jenkins and try and get them to start negotiations with any prospective sellers or buyers they might be aware of. | deswalker
14/3/2011 15:22 | How can you check the current price of this share? | annebz
09/3/2011 17:06 | tardelli - you're on the list. Let's hope it makes him a few quid. | deswalker

04/3/2011 18:05 | According to the timetable the latest date for despatch of share certificates was 2 March. I am still awaiting my certificate, anyone else seen one? | playful |
