05/12/2007 08:02 | jonwig. Agree, i've been watching for these results and i was under the assumption that Widney was debt free with lots of cash in the bank. | 8trader
05/12/2007 07:56 | Looks like a major fall today. The results look pants.... | mrba5hir i
05/12/2007 07:32 | CR - I hope you're right. Some of the NAV numbers we were looking at are nowhere near. | jonwig
05/12/2007 07:23 | Good results imo. The headline is a loss of 7.56p for the year but if you look at H1 they lost 7,98p - that means for H2 they did 0.42p eps. They have also doubled the divi. With det and interest reduced and business improving they should do well over that 0.42p eps in H1 this year and it pays a 8% divi. I bebt the PE for this year is low single digit, profitable, growing, 8% yield and all the carp gone. CR | cockneyrebel
05/12/2007 07:21 | No skeletons rattling on a quick scan, clangor ... but not exactly brilliant. I wasn't expecting much from the Revenue account, but the Balance Sheet isn't so brilliant as I was hoping for, with NTA of 13.2p. On the basis of the restated (pro forma) interims I'd have thought a lot better. | jonwig
04/12/2007 18:29 | 'R' day tomorrow. Added a few more yesterday (@ 12p) for good measure so hoping there are no more skeletons waiting to come tumbling out of the cupboard ! | clangor2
29/11/2007 18:35 | Results Weds according to Sharescope - not 'unconfirmed' as an indicator so looks like a confirmed date. Agree Cambium - mkt cap of £3m looks way too low on the sum of the parts and the 0.5p interim divi if repeated in H2 would be 8% odd. After saying in May they had a secure and profitable future you have to think these could be well undervalued. Not a fill ya boots job but a small punt ahead of the results seems worthy to me. Marked down on 15K sells today, hideous. CR | cockneyrebel
29/11/2007 15:26 | THere has got to be some cor. activity here soon, It only has a mkt cap of 3m, lets ee next week. | cambium
29/11/2007 12:31 | How do you know the announcement is next Wed, Charo ? Decided to have a little nibble yesterday. At 13.15p, could turn out to be as 'cheap as chips' ! | clangor2
29/11/2007 11:33 | Seen WAGN move today on results? Recon WDNY could do similar on their results next week. CR | cockneyrebel
29/11/2007 11:33 | announcement wed. | charo
19/11/2007 13:39 | Someones joined us with 58K. Results in a fortnight and there's someone constantly buying in size. CR | cockneyrebel
14/11/2007 14:08 | Charo, 12.5-14 from 12.5-14.5 isn't significant. | jonwig
14/11/2007 13:42 | how come price down when trades suggest otherwise. | charo
14/11/2007 12:58 | had to pay 14p too, CR, despite the MM's obviously knowing they could replace it with a 100k sale order later in the day - happy to hold and watch events unfold. If we see 13p offer again, will top up further | callumross
14/11/2007 12:42 | Another cr dog. Just look at CFE and JQV | ba5hir is back

14/11/2007 12:40 | I see someone snuffed up 105K first thing CR | cockneyrebel
12/11/2007 11:48 | Hi CR, Agree with you. There is potential here. There is the added bonus of a reverse takeover for someone who wants a quoted vehicle. I honestly feel the share price can only move north. | hvs
12/11/2007 11:43 | I am working on a conservative figure. At the interim results they said £7.9m which if still correct would be very delightful. There's been some corporate action since then with Widney Pressings and Belcot so I'm not totally sure but I'm estimating what the mimimum decent net quality assets are likely to be. If they have no debt, circa £3.5m in net tangible assets and they are making a profit then they look like they have more than bottomed. They paid 0.5p divi at the interims - don't know what the divi policy will be going fwd but if they just maintain 0.5p a year that's 4%. Just looks like it's gone low enough imo, with decent upside potential imo. CR | cockneyrebel
12/11/2007 10:44 | Time to buy I think, so I have. I noticed the 100K trade a few days ago and since then mm's have been soaking up every sell going. You can buy @ 13.1p so those trades at that level are actually buys. Results in under a month, they upped the divi to 0.5p at the interims, they are debt-free and with a market cap of £3.4m trading around NAV or under it perhaps. Tough to buy in anything over 10K when everybody is trying to do the same so I prefer to buy when everyone is ignoring the stock. Might be a bit of risk but I reckon most of the risk is factored in here if not all of it. CR | cockneyrebel
08/11/2007 17:14 | due end of first week dec.company noises very up. | charo |
