Anyone like to speculate by what management mean by "slightly lower" I suppose for starters that this could be up to 20% below consensus which Refs shows as normalised at £30.7M. So could we be looking at £24.8M normalised as a worst case scenario. i.e Approx £24.2 say FRS3 pretax.

Actually, I think the fall seems to be excessive compared to the revised figure....

'The company narrowed its full-year revenue growth forecast range to 6-7 pct
from the previous 6-8 pct.'

However, if there is a concerted effort by shorters then the price will obviously get slammed. It will be interesting to see if the shorters get their way or they themselves get slammed!!!!

Not so sure. When you read the promises and when you see the reality (look in Whatman website and global websites, compare what has been announced successfully), there could be questions (also since Thian is there) : delays in restructuring, delays in sales, lost of confidence (FTA), lost of key technical people, lost of confidence from big customers. And finally, as you say, just,..., promises. Bill

Welcome aboard!
This has been a 'long-termer' for me but is pulling together really well.

I only have a few stocks like this (I mostly spread bet), another one of note is Celsis (CEL) which has come off a bit due to a big acquisition & removing the small dividend payment. May be worth monitoring as the synergies through cross-selling look good.

Couldn't agree more. I am actually quite new to this one and therefore don't qualify as a 'patient investor' but certainly looks like there could be some upside over the next couple of weeks. Generally looks like a fairly consistent performer?
