Maybe unrelated, but it was reported on another board that the LSE had forgotten to renew their domain name londonstockexchange.com today, and hence the site was down for a period ... oops!

RFC news out yesterday perhaps explains Laxey, and previously Damille and Paribas activit investor type interest.

Thanks Epistrophy, there is quite a few RNS around this, I'm not sure but guess MASH is Mike Ashleys investment vehicle? Perhaps Mike and Paribas have loaded shares into it to get round the owning two clubs rule until the end of the season.....but who knows as mere onlookers I'm sure we will be last to know.

Flipped my RFC when Damille pulled out nearly followed Paribas in but got cold feet.

BBC were reporting that the Rangers transaction was completed "on Mike Ashley's behalf".

Curious ... and maybe not one of their usual arbitrage plays. Although Laxey seem to be involved somewhere too... are the arbs really just big Rangers fans!?

Hi Praipus

A couple of things for the Guy Thomas post 1114:

- Your link to the Free Capital thread just leads to a sign-in page. It should be this:

- GT has a large holding in CLTV:

Weiss reducing CQS reducing from 15% to 11% after redemption of $ class of stock

Unfortunately Selftrade don't make trading in $ and € stock economically viable or they're being screwed by their FX partner.
