29/6/2017 12:20 | Some nice buying on that little dip. | on target
29/6/2017 12:02 | Couple of shocking day trades there losing circa £700 on each. Fools and there money ? | basem1
29/6/2017 11:23 | On target, where does it say they are travelling ? It just says they are preparing to travel. I am preparing for Christmas this year. It is not Christmas. Oh, no, what a hopeless analogy, as Christmas will actually happen. Maybe "preparing for the tooth fairy" would be better. And ( if they do go) it is "final negotiations". So WSG will put some demands on the client, and the client will make some demands. And if either do not like, they may walk away | graham1ty
29/6/2017 11:19 | I'm building up a serious position here again. | someuwin
29/6/2017 10:54 | On target-read the previous 5 years RNS lol | youkme
29/6/2017 10:01 | Bought some more at 16.12. Of course there is risk but I like the risk/reward. | broncowarrior
29/6/2017 09:53 | Not just ready to travel now though are they, they ARE travelling - for the final negotiations. That means the deal could be signed (all being well) in the short-term! | on target
29/6/2017 09:51 | Presumably when it was imminent last year they were also ready to travel ? | graham1ty
29/6/2017 09:45 | Nope but I'd go to UAE to attend the signing! | madmonkflin
29/6/2017 09:27 | Anyone going to the AGM? | albo
29/6/2017 09:11 | Good to see the AGM statement focussed almost entirely on the Middle East project (A defining and key focus for the Group). Everything else is a sideshow to this monster contract. Can you afford not to be holding if this comes in? | someuwin
29/6/2017 08:58 | Could be that the big boys are flying in to sign on the dotted line. Or, some last minute glitch threatens the whole deal, and they are sending in the cavalry. You pays your money and ............... | 2magpies
29/6/2017 08:57 | Having followed this company for many years, and having met the key players I genuinely think we are getting very close to the boom time that has been promised for so long. | someuwin
29/6/2017 08:53 | Managed to get a few at 15.5p. It does look poised to get back into the 20's at least. | on target
29/6/2017 08:47 | Arguably looks more promising now than ever. Fingers crossed. | saucepan
29/6/2017 08:42 | Would be more than that Bronco. But the big word is 'if'...... | bernieboy
29/6/2017 08:38 | If this deal comes off 4 bagger when announced. | broncowarrior
29/6/2017 08:28 | I must admit that I read the RNS and laughed. They are getting ready to travel. Ha ha ha. Impressive. Good luck. I still don't hold and wouldn't buy on that one.. | bernieboy
29/6/2017 08:13 | Good of them to give us the heads-up. Expect to see big rise in next coming days and weeks. | someuwin
29/6/2017 08:02 | And so the cycle of ramping rns ready for placement begins. | youkme
29/6/2017 07:55 | Yep, final negotiations means signing the contract then celebrating :))) Anytime in July we will become one of the biggest market caps on AIM | jambam
29/6/2017 07:48 | Be nice to get back up to 18p+ when the new contract is signed. DC | daicaprice
29/6/2017 07:40 | Would appear they are heading out to sign on the dotted line. SUW | john henry
29/6/2017 07:20 | 29 June 2017 Westminster Group Plc: AGM Statement Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster', the 'Group' or the 'Company'), the AIM listed supplier of managed security services and technology based security solutions to governments and government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and blue chip commercial organisations worldwide, will hold its Annual General Meeting today at 11am at the offices of Moore Stephens LLP, 150 Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4AB. At the meeting, Westminster's Chief Executive, Peter Fowler, will provide shareholders with the following update: "In the 2016 Annual Report issued on 5(th) June 2017 I was pleased to report that our business is now in a better position than it has been for some time as we continue to expand our international presence including the establishment of subsidiaries and an operational office in Germany which will provide strategic support for our projected growth. "A defining and key focus for the Group in recent months has been on closing the long term Middle East project opportunity which is expected to result in revenues in excess of GBP35m per annum. I am pleased to report that we have made substantial progress with this complex project. Following extended discussions over recent months around the scope of works, preparations are now being made for certain Board members and myself to travel to the country concerned for what we hope will be final negotiations, although with complex projects of this nature there can never be certainty as to timing or outcome. We expect to provide an update on developments in the near future. "Airport security solutions and our experience in the sector represent a significant growth opportunity for the Group and we continue to progress a number of long term prospects, both those under existing MoUs and others that are at an early stage. "As I mentioned in our 2016 Annual Report, we have an opportunity to achieve unprecedented growth from the many prospects and initiatives we are pursuing, any one of which could be transformational for the Group, and the Board and I remain committed to delivering on this potential." | someuwin |
