I think the deal is dead-in-the-water. Even the misfits running this company cannot acquire HALO until it has an interest in the Philippines JV. Since that apparently has yet to happen the deal can't be concluded.

No trades at all today. Would be nice if we were told how negotiations are going as they were certainly quick enough out of the blocks when looking for support.

My thoughts are would Cochran put money and his reputation on the line for a company he could buy outright with his wealth.
WSX is an easy access/entry ponit for him to get back into what he and his fellow BOD's do best.
TIME WILL TELL.

So it has further to fall then. Just did a dummy buy and got offered .0425. Tried a dummy sell for the same quantity and couldn't get an electronic quote.
Hope this isn't been engineered to achieve a low ball share price to accommodate any equity swap when or if "the deal" is done. Mind you nothing surprises me with this bunch of non-achievers.

Its only the mm's dropping the share price on no news....these are all buys @ .045 not sells as shown.
News will come any day.

If the deal doesn't go through then surely the current BOD will lose the support of the institutions that voted to keep them in and leave the door open for Milroy to have another crack.
This constant erosion of the share price is getting tedious and it's about time they started to earn their corn.

Deal may not go through. I have heard this was thrown together at the last minute which is why WSX is down over 60% since potential deal was announced. Things are not as concrete as we were led to believe.

It's looking like Milroy and Dekker are having to agree with the HALO deal when it eventually comes. No massive sell of from them which would be madness anyway. Only the MM's lowering the share price testing the resolve of those in at the latest highs.
News any day now and a few more details of the deal could have the MM's selling at treble today's share price

Looks like PI's bailing out at whatever price they can get.
In the meantime the directors have shut up shop for the summer hols before they come back all refreshed to unleash a frenzied transformation as promised.

Ringo - Unfortunately they have decided to jettison assets rather than adjust their pay/expense accounts.

It was all about not having enough cash to continue in the way they were, they also relinquished part of the FG agreement for the same reason and is all in the last, up to a dozen RNS announcements.

Ringo - You are correct. At this point WSX only has the Guyane and Western Sahara licenses. The UK and Juan de Nova licenses have been relinquished. The UK licenses are up for bid to anyone who decided to apply.

I read that that they certainly do not hold the license at the moment as they have relinquished it, and that they intend to reapply for the license.

So they are in the mixer with anyone else in imv.
