31/3/2015 07:43 | Would have preferred to hear about the 3 month delay direct from Wentworth rather than first from some government source well before we are told here. AEX seem to be following the same tactics. Yes it is already in the price as when we do flow the rewards will transform the share price and company but share price affecting news should be out there when it becomes known. What's this about arranging new debt? Thought they had 26 million credit of which only 6 million had been drawn up to December 2014? | codhead1
18/3/2015 14:37 | Production coming shortly, and will make a difference in the share price ...... Pricing gas on its way to market is a different game altogether..... | tebbin
13/3/2015 17:54 | hxxp://brrmedia.co.u Nothing that we were not already aware of but reassuring to hear about the volumes coming on. | koolio
09/3/2015 08:15 | Wentworth up this morning on the back of its reserves update. | 888icb
09/3/2015 07:44 | Why so quiet here when so near production and cash coming in? They are ahead of AEX in that they have a gsa signed up yet this seems to be below the radar. | codhead1
04/3/2015 08:25 | Positive RNS giving an update on funding involving drawdown from an existing facility. Soon internal cash flow will take over when the gas starts flowing into the pipeline. | 888icb
27/2/2015 10:40 | i listened to that conference call yesterday. the next six months is crucial, and not without risk, but they appear to understand them and have contingencies. but at 1x 2016 cashflow, it is worth some exposure. | oregano
26/2/2015 22:06 | Great results there. Should start an upward trend now. Very cheap | guyswonga74
24/2/2015 14:07 | Yeah...Me too nhb. Lost a few bob on that one as well. | funtimejonny
24/2/2015 13:48 | steeplejack, you are right about IC and the junior oil sector. Tangiers Petroleum is another recent disaster that I was foolish enough to dip my toe into. That was the a shooting star that crashed and burned. | nhb001
24/2/2015 12:52 | Not very impressive the way the price has dropped today😨 | funtimejonny
24/2/2015 10:39 | This drill was a sideshow to the main event which is gas into the pipeline shortly followed by a substantial income. Obviously it would have been good to strike commercial oil but the share is very cheap based on the gas alone. | 888icb
24/2/2015 09:20 | judging by the wording, this is the last of the exploration wells is it not? so all about connecting up to the pipe. | oregano
24/2/2015 08:59 | Bottom fishing or catching a falling knife in an unpopular sector? The Investors Chronicle has had an unhappy record in the junior oil sector of late.Thalassa(oil exploration equipment)one of their 2014 favourites, has fallen from around 3 quid to 50p currently. Now,having tipped Wentworth at around 50p,the stock has neared halved. These things happen but frankly, the IC should wake up and smell the coffee, there's little point in trying to finesse the bottom by buying into a perennial exploration disappointment like Wentworth in a bombed out sector.Just as well they have the pipeline, the offshore and now the onshore drilling have flopped in all but name.Actually,it's quite an achievement in such a prestigious area not to strike lucky!! | steeplejack
24/2/2015 08:46 | Bargain time down here. Gas sales shortly and pipe connection | cammy3
24/2/2015 08:20 | Proverbial losers. | steeplejack
23/2/2015 16:34 | WRL in Oslo up 4.4 % today and up over 6% in the last week.Could be Oslo is following London on this occasion with the Investor Chronicle repeating a buy recommendation first made in the high 40s. 4th qtr figures, year prelims, this Thursday,26 Feb | steeplejack
23/2/2015 15:33 | Flying now and some volume | 888icb
20/2/2015 09:33 | The savage share price rout in the oil and gas sector looks like it may have got to the point where there are some real bargains to be had, and Africa-focused oil and gas exploration junior Wentworth looks like a prime example. With gas production about to ramp up, and with expected cash flows underpinned by a fixed-price, long-term contract with the Tanzanian state, the shares appear INCREDIBLY CHEAP on a forecast 37 per cent free cash-flow yield. What's more, there's significant further upside potential from Wentworth's well-funded and promising exploration programme. | loobrush
20/2/2015 08:45 | jUST TOO CHEAP Wentworth's shares now trade at a 63 per cent discount to Cantor Fitzgerald's risked sum-of-the-parts valuation of 77p a share. While the company still has to prove that it can ramp up production successfully - and Tanzania does not have the best track record for paying its bills - there is enough underpinning the expected cash flows to make these shares look very cheap. Buy. | loobrush
19/2/2015 22:47 | Tipped as a BUY in tomorrows IC as one of their tips of the week. The heading is "Wentworth is just too cheap" | 888icb
16/1/2015 15:03 | Wentworth video mention Sam Wahab, oil analyst at broker Cantor Fitzgerald, talks about the prospects for the oil industry in 2015, including the potential for more consolidation in the sector. He also names some small and mid cap favourites such as Green Dragon Gas (LON:GDG), Wentworth Resources (LON:WRL) and Fastnet Oil & Gas (LON:FAST). | proactivest
16/1/2015 09:52 | Also Panmure Gordon-see proactive investors-they have interview on there. | loobrush
16/1/2015 00:35 | Wentworths next dril has commenced at Ruvuma with Anadarko at the helm. Cantor are fans of Wentworth and GKP. | 888icb |
