Not trying to be negative, just objective - this has been posted on

" The WUC will be sidelined for years to come for obvious political reasons. No access to the cookie jar, you see. Also, the matter of contravention of the NWA (1998). We need an ammendment to the Water Act to allow for 3rd party managment and commercial ventures involving a national(ised) asset."

dunno how accurate this statement is

As a newbie to WET, wondering whether its an investment at current price, this thread is ridiculous!

There are four useful posts in the last week (since 18/10). (214, 228, 233 and 251 if anyone's interested). Many thanks to those posters.

The remaining 58 posts (almost 95% of contributions) serve no useful purpose.

Now the SA government appear to be taking AMD seriously and committing funds to the long term project it looks like potentially positive news for WET if the SA government deliver on their promises . . . that's real news rather than speculative and made up stuff that's usually posted on the WET threads . . .

Infrastructure
The parties agree to work together to fast-track the infrastructure build-programme, with specific commitments by government, the business sector, organised labour and community constituencies.

Accelerate the implementation of a long term sustainable acid mine drainage solution, with steps taken by 2013.
