What is not to like about them, low PE & PEG, decent divi, has cash and no debt. Seems to be at the bottom of it's cycle. Should be a winner, just need other investors to see this too! Can't see myself selling out at this price at the moment.

Rhomboid. It's only a possibility. I hold as they have been around since the 1950's, I know the sector, they are well managed, are very unlikely to go bust (protection of capital) and generate a good dividend. A foreign (US or more likely Asian) mega cap consultant may of course see the value that I see.

Hi NC , do you think the value here will be outed by takeover? I'm treating my remaining holding as more of a LT income play

Martin Strong ex. CEO of CBRE (EMEA) announced at AGM as new NED at Waterman. A great addition to the Board during the ongoing growth of the business.

I think it's very unlikely that they will issue one given they have no obligation to and with the AGM coming up next month. Seems the autumn statement is very positive for roads and infrastructure which will benefit Waterman Aspen in particular.Look forward to meeting some of you at the AGM hopefully.

Any idea if there will be a trading update this week? Was on the 24th November last year.

Thank you WJCCGHCC, I knew design fees were a small fraction of the project cost, but didn't know the rough percentage norm for this sort of work.

Yes, I agree. We are probably looking at additional 3% p.a. revenues over 4 years as a result of this deal. Welcome but not earth-shattering.

Yes for for the avoidance of any doubt, Waterman's fees will be a relatively small % of the £85m p/a with this % dependant on the services they are required to deliver (MEP, structures, transport planning, environmental etc). This is not a game changer but as noted above its welcome long term revenue given current uncertainties.

£680mm is the value of the construction contract. WTM will get 50% of the design portion of that which will be <5% so probably 1-2.5mm a year over 4 years.
