Grim set of results. Can imagine many exiting sharply at the same time.

Fantastic results - I particularly like the comment about calcium. Hang on, I'm reading the list of ingredients on my cornflake packet. Where are those results?

The results are being released on the 5th July. Advised this after a conversation with Michael Lawrence this afternoon.

I am in these and like the fact that they work within the trade i.e house builders property developers etc as its a lot more reliable income source as opposed to waiting for joe public to walk through the door and should remain constant as developers will keep building regardless of market conditions - i.e if prices go down they buy the land cheaper and sell cheaper.
Nice pick anyway - all the best all imho blah blah.

Slater Investments buying up WTL:

Today:

Slater Investments Limited has notified the Company that it has a notifiable interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company amounting to 812,397 ordinary shares representing 6.195% of the Company's issued share capital.

Mark Slater seems pretty shrewd imo.

A very good mate of mine who is in the kitchens business and who has regular dealings with WTL says he is very busy...and is having to turn down work.Did someone mention recession? lol

Expect a bullish outlook statement from WTL imo

lol - iou1luv thinks we're heading for a recession and he's buying into £500m overvalued floats lol.

Results are 'early July' the co says - that was July 3 last year.

I think there will be buyers turning up here over the next two weeks.

chart looks like a complete mirror of itself up to may is being created which is quite common in recoveries.

Mong1 - only indication that the company has given out is 'early July', so your information supports this.

I've been trying to get an exact date for the prelims.

Daniel Stewart couldn't tell me and Bishopsgate said they were not at this stage planning to issue a statement announcing the date. He did confirm however that he expected them to be announced w/c 2nd July and possibly on 5th.

I'm a big fan of the opportunity in this company, but I wish they would sort out their external communication.

Anyone got an exact date out there?

agreed, looks very good from here.

im initially expecting it to get up to the three figure mark, but even then compared to its peers that next to nothing in terms of market capitalisation.

Look at that chart - something good has happened in the beginning of May imo.

The co was on roadshows then - from the interims -:

"In 2007, Waterline will once again be exhibiting throughout the country with our Showcase Programme. The team's strategy is to meet as many trade customers as possible over six weeks, in six venues through April and May. The Board would welcome any shareholders wishing to visit us at our road show venues.

Furthermore our 2007 Customer Holiday Promotion period will now run from 1 September 2006 to 30 June 2007. Initial signs are that it has begun very positively.

I reckon people have found out a thing or two at the roadshows myself. That or the price went that low there's a bidder about imo.

And still so very, very cheap :-)

Cheap as chips and been saying it for a long time. Nobody seems to have been willing to accept that they had to deal with integration problems of the Coolectric acquisition but all co's hit problems, it's how well you deal with them.

FWD PE 7 - way too cheap but has been ignored, like JLH which just annouced great results, probably trading on a PE well below 7 I expect.

Meanwhile Smallbone an Omega go trucking on when in reality WTL and JLH are growing much faster and on half the rating.
