What will be will be. Unfortunately we Private Investors do not have any influence on these decisions.

John Byrne's reputation will be in tatters IF we Private Investors lose ALL our money and therefore maybe, just maybe, he may salvage something for the Private Investors.

The last para will be perceived as being naïve by many, however time will tell and I would not be at all surprised if we P Is are left with nothing.

Anything would be a bonus.

Scargs if the debt holders are willing to accept equity in exchange then we will be diluted but the company will still be in business. We may then recover our losses or if the plants all start up we may even hold for success! Hibu aka as Yell did much the same but without much success for shareholders as they carried too much debt and struggled to keep going. Wasabi seem close to plant success with some big names signed up (looking at directors talk comments). It is just possible they can pull it off. IMO Good luck to us, I too thought this was a great prospect!

Who knows, but there may be a chance that any discussion could result in an agreement with creditors, D4E or the like.........maybe I'm just clutching at straws. We'll see what pans out if anything......

What could happen which would mean that us Private Investors could NOT lose ALL our money?

It's always nice to hear a little glimmer of hope but I would take what driller50 says with a pinch of salt....he is part of the ramping crew linked to Zaks Trading Cafe and post across various boards with various different alias'.

There is always a possibilty that we may get some monies back from the voluntary administration, but it is quite likely that we will get nothing.

Zaks Trading Cafe knows nothing more than anybody else out there and rest assured there are no current rumours to the like what he is stating.

Remember it was him that was stating that there was a new website and it was lies.....it was also him stating a very high percentage of placing taken....and he was very wrong......do not believe everything you read on these bb's....

Just for your info, I am a large holder of WAS and have nothing to gain or lose by posting this message...

Heres hoping we get something out of this...all the best!!

Potentially good company, given time and patience. Plainly pAthetic management, disposed to premature ejaculatory intentions and projections. If it survives there should be some sacking!

Well it now appears there may be something to resurrect. Interesting post 1159 from driller which I am thinking there may be some truth in that behind the scenes games being played here?

To ALL Wasabi Energy Private Investors

When I read the Voluntary Administration RNS I immediately accepted that my money was gone.

Do you think with this proposed restructuring proposal there is a chance that we Private Investors MAY salvage some of our money?

All comments would be most welcome.

Just shows - no guarantee that a company which has some positive attributes can prosper for shareholders. Sadly directors in charge of some companies decide to grab the assets for themselves - or demonstrate an amazing level of incompetance not seen before. I am sure in due course folks here will be able to work out which scenario applied here.

There's a lesson for all of us here - never invest in a company with a stupid name. Oh well - thank goodness for diversification.
