16/10/2007 19:05 | It is bad, i have seen worse i think PTL is probably tops ,but i have not checked of lately we are in a "no sell" situation so i suppose we hold and watch and hope in the next 7 months something comes along i feel sorry for the people who have bought in of recent as a gamble for now they are locked in. i did check prior to this drop and MMs wont toutch the 120 ks worth of shares i hold | alby220
16/10/2007 18:04 | As a matter of interest before I punch my monitor, is this the greatest ever % spread in any stock anywhere on the planet???? | garykc
16/10/2007 15:55 | another major drop .10/.50 they dont want any more WHOG shares | alby220
15/10/2007 20:45 | There is nothing they could say, especially at this moment in time being so close to suspension. Surely it would be price sensative. The latest buys are just gamblers imo as the buys do not equate to large sums of money. I hope something is brewing but I doubt it very much. I think our best hope is in the dormant 6 months that lie ahead. Would Tiger be a possibility? After all they owe us big time !! :) | flannyblue
15/10/2007 13:46 | Thanks also to Zack for e-mailing Acorn Capital. Maybe our Oak will come someday!!!! | garykc
15/10/2007 13:26 | Thanks Zack! they may not reply first time be persistant,if they dont reply first time,i have never seen a company facing extinction and that spread as well get so many people buying ? | alby220
15/10/2007 13:15 | just sent email to Acorn capital for any reply with reguard to all buys | zackactive
15/10/2007 12:33 | If anyone finds out anything can they post it please i am all ears to the ground but nothing as yet!! Phil i am not interest in buying either, i just retain 126ks worth of whog shares (not worth selling !!,MMS dodgy people only buy in small lots anyway) Zack good luck with Acorn Capital partners if you decide to try to get info | alby220
15/10/2007 12:22 | The Warthog Chairman, Ian Templeton can he give us a clue what might be going on??? | zackactive
15/10/2007 10:34 | gary...agree with everything you say, but there are still buyers out there at 0.05...alby220 is probably right there's some insider stuff going on that we obviously know nothing about, or someone is trying to suck in a few punters, either way interesting to watch, though i'm not tempted...yet | philwill
15/10/2007 10:17 | Philwill, although I agree with your sound reasoning behind shell companies, it does make me nervous that no-one has jumped on WHOG, or any other shell for that matter before now. We only have a tad over 3 weeks left to finalise a deal before suspension and then a further 6 months before delisting. I have thought about buying mre WHOG to average down but have no spare cash at the moment. Given we only have c£125k cash left, this still gives the company a value of 0.034p. As alby states, why buy at 0.05p? | garykc
15/10/2007 09:45 | A shell company is a company that exists but does not actually do any business or have any assets. The most interesting type of shell company (to investors) is one that has a listing. This is a listed shell, and is almost always what is meant by a reference to a shell in an investment context. Given that it takes time and money to obtain a listing, a listed shell has significant value even if it does not have any assets. Listed shells are therefore often the targets of reverse takeovers. | philwill
15/10/2007 09:41 | I cannot understand the buys A.M, Tiger as far as i know, correct me if i am wrong is a cash shell as well, i.e. it no longer exists as it is in administration. With a spread of.02/.05 i cannot see any financial reason to buy WHOG shares now at all?? Unless someone is aware of something, the rest of us are not party to?? I watch this share with continued interest,in realation to the continued buying activity. | alby220
15/10/2007 09:25 | Is Tiger buying back in into the Whog | zackactive
15/10/2007 09:02 | another moderatly large buy a.m. do they know something we dont?? | alby220
13/10/2007 16:15 | Giving Tiger a market cap of $187,500. | garykc
13/10/2007 13:12 | it makes you wonder why tiger has gone up so much mind you 66 percent up is not a great deal based on the share price but strange happenings anyway | alby220
13/10/2007 11:00 | Well, Tiger finished up 66% last night. Means nothing though unless WHOG finds a buyer... | enewman36
12/10/2007 11:20 | Probably just a shorter closing their position to take the profit now rather than hanging on to the very end. | nfranks
12/10/2007 10:16 | Me neither but apparently they buy in hope of a retrace or the possible if unlikely aquisition, I did toy with the idea myself. | nabcom
12/10/2007 10:09 | But why would you buy 1mil of these with suspension hanging over it, i cannot see this gaining that much to make a profit at present .02/.05 i would not buy any more at the moment | alby220
12/10/2007 10:03 | Apparently a share can often trade quite actively even after a susp reminder/huge fall. | nabcom
12/10/2007 09:51 | Quite right, not worth selling now,but any ideas why people are buying large chunks of shares still, 1mil just now, i cannot see the share price suddenly going north again unless Acorn PLC have something up their sleve other than WHOGs demise. At these prices it would need to be a large spike north to make money here with the spread | alby220
12/10/2007 09:29 | Rubbish garykc...it is at least £1.50. I bought £5000 worth, now worth £100. | monty77 |
