Any level below net asset value here is a buy IMO. That is 65M GBP / 92P share

this is definitely an investors company not a traders. I say this because it goes up (and down) quite randomly on no news.
If you think it can get to £1 or £2 within 12 to 24 months its a BUY .

So its in TOTAL liabilities (less Intangibles).
NAV is calculated using TOTAL liabilities ...

Realise I was using 2019 rather than Jan 2020 but the point still stands. It was on the 31st January 2020 the figure you quote but then the pandemic came along.

I have already accounted for the above factors. This is still crazy cheap. Investors are still too short term focused. Ive seen it so many times. The day this reports 10p eps again in 12-18 months is the day this is over 100p again IMO. Let time judge who is right

And the pension deficit is 5.7m now, not 9.7.

Our Haven (or anyone ):
Is a pension deficit counted in a balance sheet as "liabilities", if so why should anyone be interested in what it is as we already know the NAV value...

Or is it not counted as a "liability" on the balance sheet.

Could someone let me know?
As I have calculated NAV using liabilities against assets and if pension is not a liability then my figures will be wrong.

SI13 With the last known pension deficit of 9.6million and added contributions of between 1.6 to 1.9million per annum to make up the deficit in 2026, you have to factor this into your position.

kazoom (or anyone): when is the "new season" in interior design? Is it September?
I'm thinking news flow for autumn should be ramping up soon...
Anyone know the key dates for the trade cycles?

Should we be getting significant orders from EU and USA for new seasons stock?
Were any of yesterdays buys from people in the "interior design" business?

SI13 - I kinda agree. But from experience the market rarely works like that.

The value may be obvious, but the inflection point to look for is when the market actually starts to recognise that value - Not now imho.

Maybe a realisation that a company that can do 10p of earnings in a normal year with a small net cash position should trade at least at 10x that (100p), not 4.5 or even 5.5x that where we are today.

The market is so short term focused it occasionally gives you a gift horse to look at in the mouth, and I simply cannot ignore it when it does

Another area in DIY that is also booming - flooring... Its all a sign that the whole area from walls to floors is doing well:
From Topps Tiles:

New edison research note out today fellas. States that Walker has emerged from lockdown in a "healthy net cash position". They go on to say net cash was £4.5m at the end of July against £2.8m at the end of June and £1.3m at the start of the year.

Nice. My target is 80p for first destination.
