13/7/2012 16:15 | If you are holding these at close of play next thursday you will pick up a 4.5p special dividend on the 3rd Aug. 11% in two weeks-not bad. | the weatherman
16/3/2012 14:23 | About to do a deal with Liontrust resulting in a 'Special Dividend'. | the weatherman

21/6/2011 16:32 | Online limits are pretty tight right now on the offer. Looks to me like MMs are trying to accumulate to fill an order. | longshanks
08/6/2011 18:35 | Whole sector looks undervalued to me, once the markets start booming then these and others will be off to the races. | isis
08/6/2011 18:10 | yep - disappointing but not unsurprising market reaction. Dividend at ~6% looks pretty secure with the company's balance sheet looking quite robust. I took a look at their online broker website with a view to opening an execution only account. Quite put off by their charges which are from the dark ages and uncompetitive with what is available elsewhere. I can see why their brokerage business is not doing so well and probably losing custom to other brokers rather than being a symptom of a poor market as claimed! A shake up in that arena is called for and anyone going to the AGM could do well to suggest this to the BOD. Still the FUM is continuing to develop well. Given the strength of the balance sheet I can see them doing another round of share buybacks ahead of the AGM which should support the price a little. | longshanks
08/6/2011 15:38 | ok results and a slight increase in div is nice to see but held back by a cautious outlook statement. gonna keep treading water for a while yet but div helps. | its the oxman
27/4/2011 08:13 | Only a month and a bit till the net results which could result in re-rating depending on numbers and outlook statement. | bogotatrader
09/3/2011 11:57 | i know the feeling....zzzzzzzzz I believe there used to be a takeover premium factored into the price that has disappeared as the appetite for such mergers has wained. That makes this a nice sound investment at this price. Dividend underpins a stable business model and I'm sure the market will see value eventually. A big dividend increase may be just what we need to raise that visibility. In the meantime, though, the income is better than what can be achieved from most cash ISA's so can't complain. | longshanks
07/3/2011 11:12 | fallen asleep holding these - maybe a big div increase will wake me up | its the oxman

16/6/2010 09:39 | Transaction in own shares looks positive. I bought today but could only get a price of 48p. Michael Sunderland retires from full time employment at the end of Feb 2011 following his 65th birthday. I wonder if this will influence the share price. regards | ben value
15/6/2010 09:28 | agree all is going well here - just still not sure when the catalyst to get it moving is likely to arrive. happy to tuck away for long term. | its the oxman

24/4/2010 10:47 | Hi Oxman, I bought yet again. Next result will be very good and beat expectations as they very busy and funds under management are growing. Divi at 2.5p should also rise and good yield on todays share price So all in all I think these will rise nicely over the next 12 months. | hvs
22/4/2010 09:37 | yet to buy more myself but if markets stay as they are i expect to be taking profit elsewhere and topping up here provided the share price stays sub 50p - only minor hesitation caused by the rating which is not sceaminigly cheap on current earnings forecasts (although my hope is these will be upgraded as outlook/econ improves) - any view on rating by the way hvs? | its the oxman
