as share price drifts down slightly more again after todays placing ,and may even drop more around November 7 or which ever day placing shares admitted , how ever hoping may only be a short term drop ,and in future weeks or months share price may move up to a higher level

That's right, more funding means more placings unfortunately. I don't think anyone can be in any doubt now that when WRES talk about funding they will tap the market with a placing. My worry is they need many millions to ramp up to the CEO's ambitious levels within 6-9 months, so that's going to mean many huge placings?

Topped up on the dip.. been invested here for years.. same pattern, rise.. placing, drop to placing level.. rise on strong RNS soon after (Gold results due in Nov).. and the cycle repeats.. but note the trend is UP.. higher lows and higher placing levels. Sao Martinho could be very exciting indeed. worth taking a slice now before those results hit

Placing is for working capital amongst other things which is the problem because a producer shouldn't need to keep tapping the market for working capital if it's making money. So being a producer now hasn't really helped. He still needs to use the AIM listing to make money via placings.

Price does not always dip under placing price. Some do dip down but how much depends very much on why there has been a placing.. Very unlikely imho to dip much here as WRES is starting to produce and is in a decent position compared to many exploration and development companies.
