What's the problem with getting a CE cert?

I assume Marshall-Tufflex have a CE cert? Or are they simply re-packing a VPhase? Doesn't look like it.

Who ever they are it won't be installed in British houses unless its got a CE cert.

Here's the patent Melton. Enjoy!

In return, I wonder if someone could please give me a link to the competition who are a threat.

I was just about to say the same Typo56.
Patents only cover a new way of achieving something, a patent won't stop someone making a box that does the same thing.
Do you have a link to the patent Typo.

Btw Grand National soon, much better odds.

I think today's figures aren't any surprise as they are simply meeting the revised house broker forecasts for y/e 2012. But was today's 2013 profit warning and noises about competition forecast?

I never meant to suggest they don't have a patent, just it doesn't seem to be very effective, given the competition concerns. If you read the patent it describes one specific method of stabilisation and concedes that "Similar arrangements are also known.."

So who are the competition? If I were a shareholder I'd want to know.

A drop of 12% on £6k's worth of sells after 230% increase in revenue a bit over done IMHO.

Their method of regulation isn't new and patentable. I remember a piece of kit which used the same principle in the sixties. So what is protected from competition?

What level of turnover do they require in order to simply break even? From today's figures it looks like at least £8m. However, what's all this about competitive pressures? Isn't there the danger the competition will eat into margins? I thought someone said:

"...with a secure patent in place not even Chinese replicas will take over the market"

Doesn't sound like the "secure patent" is helping much!

I got a quote to buy 1.5M at .54 so somebody wants to sell, probably can't get a quote to sell if no buy orders in.

Looking forward . Hmm . Potential...Hmm.
I hope you didn't buy too many to pump up and sell on.
I'm looking forward and I see a fund raising, I'm sure if you're that keen their broker will put you in touch.

Potential from here is massive, the rsl model is working and they have barely started. Expansion in to other markets looks promising too. Foundations are laid for solid growth IMO, start looking forward.

Two words.

Working capital

They're gonna need some. 300k won't last long.

.5p a share placing? Maybe less, some people are daft enough but they tend not to be the ones with the money.

Theres 2mill there below for a start.

Our current Q2 order book is improving steadily and we have a substantial and growing pipeline of VPhase specifications with Registered Social Landlords ("RSLs")as well as new overseas distributors signing up. Our new French distributor has just placed their first order for 1,100 units for call off during Q2

Agree Melton. With an annual cash burn of £1.8m they'll be needing more cash soon, unless they can shift that stock. With an annual turnover of just £1.4m what are they doing sitting on £1.1m of stock?

Plus they're already warning for the current year.

And why on earth does a little one-horse electronics company have admin costs of over £2m?
