   Acquisition 
 
   Vp plc, the equipment rental specialist, today announces the acquisition 
of the entire issued share capital of Test & Measurement Group Ltd 
("Test & Measurement") for a consideration of GBP3.95 million. 
 
   Test & Measurement is engaged in the hire and sale of specialist 
electrical instrumentation and environmental test equipment to the 
utilities, electrical engineering and oil and gas sectors across the UK. 
The business, which has been established for over 15 years, currently 
operates from two locations in Liverpool and Aberdeen. 
 
   Test & Measurement will operate within Vp's specialist safety, survey 
and communications equipment rental business, ESS Safeforce, part of the 
Hire Station division.
