31/8/2009 18:59 | I met Stephen Voller a few years ago when he was extolling the virtues of Voller Energy, and felt he was a dreamer, and didn't invest. The fact that he didn't have a viable proposition , yet still went on to squander shareholders money, shows what a delusional fool he was. I've just viewed the DD episode, and couldn't believe he had the audacity to say that he had made 500K out of VE. I just wish the Dragons had asked him how shareholders had fared!!! At least they did a good job in ripping him to pieces. | tiltonboy
31/8/2009 18:49 | No,No,No What you want to do is make multiple applications for his new car. Hundreds of the things. Wind him up a bit 0 to 60 in 3 secs, Porsche better watch out, Stephen Voller is coming up fast...... | bargain betty

30/8/2009 22:36 | I do think that shareholders should e mail SV. To have bragged that he took 500k out of the company beggers belief. He was supposed to have been sitting on his shares when it went down. This IPO was a disaster and along with Tiger i was in at 74p. That was an exit route for the founders to get out some cash. We were sucked in. I hope he blows his (our) 500k and we should do all we can to expose his new company to bad press. Lets contact the business press or the IC for example and see if they can throw some of this around. We need to keep an eye out because he will try and float this new company off. i wonder who is backers are ? (They were the ones that made the cash last time) The Chairman was one i think can we find out who the angel investors were? No doubt they are back for more. Disgusted with this. Snow | snowman10
30/8/2009 21:46 | I dont undertsnad this. Voller says he's going to apply the technology from Voller Energy to electric cars. But the Emerald Fuel Cell was the size of a fridge and would only be able to power a toy car. | hugepants
30/8/2009 21:44 | Stephen Voller is the Chairman and Founder of Bee Automobiles Ltd. See his performance on Dragons Den at Stephen founded Bee Automobiles when he saw the destruction caused by rising sea levels to the beautiful Maldives Islands in the Indian Ocean. He has previously run a fuel cell and battery charger company that he listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in 2005. Stephen started his career with IBM and was Managing Director of Netscape UK, one of the first high growth internet companies. Stephen realised that 90% of all journeys are by car, personal transportation is essential for our daily lives. But to meet the EU and US goals of an 80% reduction in emissions by 2050 electric cars must offer the same or a better driving experience than existing cars. This is Bee's goal. You can contact Stephen Voller at stephen.voller@beeau | hugepants
30/8/2009 19:39 | It's on again now. This is what he was pitching to the city, when he said he was trying to raise cash for VLR. When they found out what he was upto that's when he 'retired' | officerdigby

27/8/2009 10:05 | I think CEO's of PLC's should be made to make a Dragons Den style presentation on record for all potential investors to view. | relishing
27/8/2009 09:26 | I haven't seen it, tell me James Caan didn't?????? EDIT Phew found it online, imho common sense prevailed!!! | egoi
27/8/2009 06:52 | Unbelievable! A pity the Dragons didn't get in to a bit more detail about VLR. More to the point, has Voller learnt nothing? £10m to design, tool up, build and market a brand new car? I seem to remember that VLR (we are told) had a marketable product but ran out of cash and unable to raise extra finance... I wonder where all the technology for the new car's battery packs came from? I think we should be told. | nigelsom
26/8/2009 21:43 | Stephen Why didn't you tell the dragons you turned 9m in to 170k here. Surely thats some kind of misrepresentation? | niggle
