19/2/2009 16:40 | Well a nice £250 loss on these! Teach me for jumping in without any research! Just tried making my losses back today and ended up making them worse! Grreeeaaaat! | mike_f
19/2/2009 16:23 | the spread is too wide to make anything here. Just look at the chart. DOOMED And the date was Jan | asparks
19/2/2009 16:22 | "they have given up the ghost on fuel cells." - so what the heck to they do now!? | asparks
19/2/2009 16:18 | I jumped on board without doing any research into the company which as a rule i never do, but due to a bad day was trying to make a quick buck back! As the share price hasn't dropped too much for some reason i have decided to wait until tomorrow to see the state of play. Very wishful thing that this may come back up a bit but just going to sit tight as sitting at a loss atm. | mike_f
19/2/2009 16:09 | asparks, You are talking out of your derriere!!! The reason they are paying the cash back to shareholders is that they have given up the ghost on fuel cells. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
19/2/2009 16:07 | I still say its JAN not FEB. I also say this is doomed. If you like fuel cells you should be in CFU - up 80% today | asparks
19/2/2009 16:06 | Need some more buyers :) lol | mike_f
19/2/2009 15:59 | Well risk reward sits ok with me so im in | pelleeds1980
19/2/2009 15:56 | Well, you are going to get 2p back almost immediately, so you know your downside. I bought some more at 1.9p on the announcement, and a few more at just over 2p. Comes down to what the market values the "shell" at. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
19/2/2009 15:55 | The date better be correct alot of people are buying based on that alone!!! | pelleeds1980
19/2/2009 15:53 | I'm in for a punt i thinks its at least worth that! | mike_f
19/2/2009 15:42 | I think the RNS has an error - dividend is payable to all those on register on 27th JAN NOT FEB!! | asparks
19/2/2009 15:38 | I'm in, gunna fly by the looks of it :) | mike_f
12/12/2008 13:40 | OK so resolutions passed at meeting this morning. So we get approx 2p a share back in Feb and VLR remains a shell. It will have enough funds for 12 months (so maybe £100,000 in cash?) and the fuel cell intellectual property which has questionable value. Anyone know how much these shell companies are typically valued at? | hugepants
26/11/2008 09:09 | nfranks, I bought a tiny amount more at higher prices after the announcement yesterday afternoon. Got 4.67% now, but not big money. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
26/11/2008 08:24 | Just gone up to 2p (offer) now. Damn | nfranks
26/11/2008 08:10 | 1p dividend in feb 2009 plus the possible 1p extra = 2p You can buy these for 1.75p so a instance 14% profit at some point and you''ll still own the shares in case of any future turn around (unlikely I know). OK some if's and but's but is it worth the gamble???? Looks like Stephen Wragg might see a profit in it but he got them at 1.125p | nfranks
26/11/2008 06:49 | so, mgmt can reasonably account for expenditures of £2.4m for the first 10 months of this year?!?!?!? on what??????????? utterly shameless | worlds lrgest undies
25/11/2008 23:03 | Extra 1p per share in the coffers. | hugepants
20/11/2008 07:21 | What happened to £1.2million in net current assets - cash/receivables - that has disappeared in the 4 months since the june 30th figures??? Tres dodgy..... | worlds lrgest undies |
