11/10/2016 08:08 | Thanks for that report larva. The problem seems to be that manufacturers have been speeding up the charging time for batteries but this risks the form of metal platelets that can then build up,short circuit, then catch fire. I don't think that technology is anything to do with Volex. | puffintickler

12/9/2016 09:31 | Was told by someone else that had seen the piece. Not a full note but a broker brief. Was met with a fair bit of buying too at the same time. | duncan doughnut
10/9/2016 19:49 | Duncan, Where are you getting this info from? There was no upgrade from Liberum, they have had a 55p target since 27th July. | che7win
10/9/2016 18:53 | Duncan Doughnut - To prop up the share price. In any case directors always make sure they do well out of deeply discounted placing and by buying quite a lot they will be able to subscribe to a lot more on the cheap. | she-ra
10/9/2016 15:09 | Why would the FD buy 345k in the run up to a rights issue? Paying up to 40p in his last buy on July 19. It will be 8 weeks since the finance director bought shares next week? Why did he stop in July when brokers are upgrading now? Unless he had to stop buying because they would be releasing good news in September perhaps? All interesting stuff I'd say. | duncan doughnut
10/9/2016 14:30 | or a rights issue and another profit warning. can't trust this one | dlku
10/9/2016 12:43 | It has been very frustrating being so busy at work and trying to watch VLX for the big bounce. I did point out last weekend they were ready to rally and duly the broker note came out with a much higher target, as I thought would happen. They haven't fully upgraded yet as the interims are still to come and reveal how well things are going but Nat and Daren are running the show between them now and both with plenty of skin in the game. All the other lousy directors outed. The Joinsoon outsourcing is going to make a huge difference and will show up soon, especially for 2H. 100p a share in quick order? I think it's quite possible. I'll keep watching for these to take off or put out a supise trading update which is very likely. | duncan doughnut
