Any bit of bad News is being crucified. Any good news seems a reason to take profits.

The is the most stressful time I have ever been in the Markets.

As VMT was my largest holding I felt I could not take a risk as to what was behind the resignation. I have sold up over the course of the morning. All tranches were sold at a profit, but not as much as they looked on paper yesterday!

Shame.

Clearly I was wrong!Vmt could do with clarifying what Farrell's reasons for leaving were, as a matter of urgency, or a "we know of no reason......" rns as a response to this fall.

I'm not sure if it's to do with today's rns, or just a bit of a sell off in general. Maybe the price got a bit ahead of itself, the all time high wasn't on the back of massive volume.Having said that, this resignation was clearly unexpected, with resolution at agm being pulled at the last minute.hxxps://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/business/a/23670210/vmoto-chairman-gets-on-his-bike/

I think you are right - the lack of a reason may have spooked a few. Not sure whether the fall is justified, but the share price has held up well in recent weeks in not great markets. Maybe why the decent size pull-back. Appears to be back on trend-line now.

Somehow missed the RNS this morning, although Im not really sure I would have reacted to it anyway

edit, maybe a reason could have been given rather than ''straight out the door''?

Promising update today and we could see a breakout later this week.

Finncap has raised its target from 2.95p to 3.50p on the back of this news.

All looking good. 1100+ units in March - 230k AUD - positive cash flow - more stores to open - numerous prospective deals ongoing - costs controlled/reduced.

Early days yet but things are on track to deliver 2014 sales in the order of a min 4 times that in 2013 plus PowerEagle, equates to 2014 profit in the order of AUD 4 - 5m (he says, doing very rough mental calc - NAI DYOR, etc).

Clear regular newsflow on sales should give us a smooth trajectory up to a much higher YE share price (though I'm not opposed to a few spikes on news from deals).

Nice relaxing ride for an AIM stock.

One of the things I particularly liked about VMT was the the regularity of their updates. I was concerned to know if they were going to continue this through 2014. They have confirmed that they will.

I expect that we are not talking about either/or here. Knowing VMT, a further RNS will not be far away providing an update on retail stores openings and sales.

Why cover everything in one RNS, when you can keep interest up with two?

I suspect there will probably be other things to come from 'left field' (like today). We have still not heard results of the trials of the 4-wheel vehicle.

I think it's a good, balanced update - the sales numbers aren't going to change the company but there's some very useful information about the markets and product development which help to reaffirm the long term story.

At least it isn't a warning or something! ;)

Agree cfro. Its not so much the volume of Units but the timeframe (unless they 'walk off the shelves')

I wonder if we are perhaps only being told part of a story here, If Sales are in a steep upcurve from existing opportunities then perhaps supply capacity/ logistics are coming in to play?

Just a thought and a question more than an opinion
