Purchase of shares by Stephen Bird

The Vitec Group plc ("the Company") announces that on Friday, 20 May 2016 following payment of the final dividend for the year ended 31 December 2015, Mr Stephen Bird, Group Chief Executive, purchased 1,291 ordinary shares of 20 pence each at GBP5.35 per share under the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

Mr Bird now holds 275,551** ordinary shares, of which 42,269 shares have been purchased in the market using funds supplied by Mr Bird and are held by Capita Trustees Limited, the Trustee used to hold shares in respect of awards made under The Vitec Group 2005 and 2014 Deferred Bonus Plan.

** Mr Bird's current shareholding also reflects shares held through a connected person.
