04/5/2012 07:38 | What a truly transformation year! 12 months ago people were paying 0.75p per share for £4k worth of assets, now the share price is sub 0.4p and the assets, being the least risky asset of all, cash, are £3.2m!! With a market cap of £2.28 million this is possibly the best valued stock on AIM. Word should spread... | gregpants
04/5/2012 07:18 | Nice start to the day but plenty to come | sweepie2
04/5/2012 06:59 | Whatever way you look at it, surely these are due a re-rating, current valuation just too low & does not reflect the substantial increase in cash balance. The current investment in PPA is not exactly setting the world alight yet but thankfully only a relatively small amount invested here, what we need is another LDP type situation! :-) | charmer1_23
04/5/2012 06:41 | Sweepie.been in marshal myself.Think it will come good one day.spoke to Paul mcgrory once and I will always remember how he described the area that they had . he said it was quite exotic.gold! | bronislav
04/5/2012 06:38 | Thanks for that, IT would be a very long wait if they did that | sweepie2
04/5/2012 06:36 | Exciting time ahead.Aslong as they don't invest in marshal lakes. .lol. | bronislav
04/5/2012 06:34 | Or PPA were willing to give the discount on the placing that Viridas seeks before making an investment. Reading the PPA thread does not fill me with confidence but these results do indicate that Viridas are dirt cheap so maybe a rebound back to .50p might be on the cards. I was hoping for a new investment to be announced and maybe with the results having been released this news will be coming out next week | sweepie2
04/5/2012 06:28 | Sweepie.seems a well run company.3.2 million cash and the investment in Ppa is primed for a rerating. As he said ...we see lots of opportunities but not many meet the criteria, pan pacific must have met the criteria which suggests more to come from them. | bronislav
04/5/2012 06:23 | Have to say they have more cash than what I thought £3.2m, I wonder whether there will be a minor re-rating on the back of this update. Difficult to say how soon before the next investment will be made | sweepie2
01/5/2012 12:59 | I guess they still see some value in LDP, so thought they'd hold on to them. Investors do seem to prefer investing directly rather than through investment houses like VIR. However as long as they keep investing wisely and cashing out opportunely they should soon build a cash pile with which they can buy a controlling/operatin We could use an official, complete, current holdings/investments summary from them, just for clarity. IMPO/DYOR. | jojo_jo
01/5/2012 11:31 | Vir has being defying logic for a long time now.... It was the same when we held LDP share price never reacted. Why we never cashed in the LDP warrants is a mystery. That's AIM for you.... | pamelling
01/5/2012 11:10 | Would have expected some reaction here to Pan Pacific rise today, as we hold 16.5% of it: 13 March 2012 Viridas plc ("Viridas" or the "Company") Investment in PAN Pacific Aggregates plc and award of options Viridas announces that it has subscribed for 12,000,000 shares in Pan Pacific Aggregates plc ("Pan Pacific"), the Canadian aggregates business listed on AIM, as part of its recent placing, at a price of 2.5 pence per share for an aggregate consideration of GBP300,000. It will also receive 6,000,000 warrants exercisable at a price of 5 pence per share at anytime up to March 2013. As a result of this investment, Viridas will have a 16.5 per cent. shareholding in Pan Pacific. | jojo_jo
23/4/2012 15:35 | There are so many bargains on the AIM now but this is one of my favourites. I top up a bit each day and have now got quite a large holding. Am happy to wait this out as have trust the management will invest wisely! | bains123
23/4/2012 15:26 | In fact current cash should more than cover the current 2.1M market cap with the investments thrown in for free... | skiboy10
23/4/2012 15:24 | Come on VIR this share should be at least 1p... | bains123
23/4/2012 15:24 | Still trading at approx half of asset value and sitting on 2 to 3 million in cash. Hopefully Nick Lee will be putting the cash to work soon. | skiboy10
23/4/2012 12:12 | Bouncing off trend line now -- solid! | ddav
20/4/2012 16:01 | Waiting for cash soon , but getting into P BOND ,at least it is safe and quiet and no one ban you . | abbey8
