Item in today's Daily Mail highlighting the advances of 'proximity marketing' , the article specifically mentions Proxama, but Vipera may also be a beneficiary down the line especially with regards to the comments in their previous results commentary.



Couple of general small extracts from attached article :

'This type of so-called 'proximity marketing' already exists, but is set to be worth £33bn globally by 2020 as mobile phone firms and giants such as Google look to cash in on technology which allows them to spy on customers' phones.'

'Proximity marketing has been trialled by technology firms for a number of years, but recent advances have made it the next boom area.


From VIP's prelim results issued in April :

"In parallel, the Group has, using the Motif Platform, developed new customer services in the field of proximity marketing solutions during 2015 in the retail segment, which are expected to contribute more significantly in the 2016 financial year."


Commentary in Monday's results may give a better insight into VIp's advancement or not into the 'proximity marketing' arena.

Eventually the share price has move up. Volume has been very high and it seems the overhang that kept the shares low has now been cleared. Today buys had the MMs on the run ( talk on the City ). Any good size buying now should move the price higher

Wrt the RNS PROX issued today regarding Proximity marketing and it will interesting to see what VIP says in its results on Monday about it's revenue from this area now and going forward.

It took its time to appeared the first buy but eventually a 100K at full offer, since another smaller size has been added and now a 48K also at full offer
