I am totally out as of this morning.

Rose much faster than expected and the holding term to returns ratio isn't worth it anymore in this market imo. Not with plenty of other cheap stuff around. Nice gain and collected the divi so I am happy to let VCT go. I'll be back if it drops to the low 600's. I like it when I get them wrong like this. ;O)

Nope, I actually unloaded a small few as there's another share I want to add to before the price goes to high. Leaving the rest of VCTs in for the long term. Investing over the longer term calls for a different strategy than trading Quotes. Not that I'm trading too much these days. That's best saved for a roaring bull market imo. Bear markets are for stocking up on long term holds imo.

Citigroup has upgraded its stance on Victrex PLC to 'buy' from 'hold', according to traders, and increased its target price to 750 pence from 720, saying the company is a major beneficiary of sterling's current weakness.

AMU is a speculative play Quotes, VCT is an investment ( which you can also trade of course ). I did say that I was in for a trade when I jumped in and out of AMU last year it was never a longer term hold for me. As I recall I only posted once so I wasn't ramping either. ;o)

They've been saying that for 10 years now liar, i know the sector is weak
but they deserve more, you were not deramping when you made a quick
two grand out of them last year !

That's OK - not every share is for everyone. I'm lumping these with my longer term shares hence they are not trading shares.

I have a rough spreadsheet which I make out for my longer term holds, it helps with calculations etc. I'll pas it on.
