19/3/2017 11:06 | I'm expecting some very positive drilling news this coming week. | highasakite
19/3/2017 09:22 | Can CamGov cancel the Etinde EA as the license awarded stipulate fertiliser plant? | tli8jaguar
19/3/2017 09:09 | Probably won't be necessary to bid for them. They have given the cameroon governement an ideal opportunity to cancel their license and award it to a 3rd party. That 3rd party could be VOG as they have the infrastructure in place to benefit the Camerron people. The govt could then help themselves to BLVN 20% share to go into their own revenue pile. They could also make VOG the operator of Bomono at the same time. can't see how they can argue against that as both COC & BLVN haven't shown any real desire to bring gas on stream from that license contrary to the benefit of the local people and local industry. | larry laffer
19/3/2017 08:40 | Bit behind this week, only just saw the BLVN news. Looks like an asset strip plain and simple. If VOG made an all share 50p a share bid for BLVN I wonder if it would work.... | broncowarrior
17/3/2017 18:27 | google "gas kick" | fatnacker
17/3/2017 18:23 | Its quite technical dan, high pressure means high heat, plenty can go wrong if its done at speed, frustrating but what can you do. | fatnacker
17/3/2017 18:16 | Not quite sure why high pressure should make such a difference, sure you need to be careful once the zone is reached but the rest of the distance is just standard drilling surely! | dan de lion
17/3/2017 18:09 | I don't think crown will win this latest round, the vote was close as regards Billie, crown will surely feel obliged to increase their holding especially when you consider the no voters now know how close it was and might increase their own as a hedge, interesting times. | fatnacker
17/3/2017 16:52 | Those scumbags are at it again over there, should be a law against these thieves. | tli8jaguar
17/3/2017 14:24 | well there's the reason for the huge spread this AM, crown calling for another GM throwing the farm in into doubt again. | fatnacker
17/3/2017 13:33 | Dan, the difference is VOG high pressure production V SOU exploration. | fatnacker
17/3/2017 12:23 | 1,500 mtrs to go 42 days ago, SOU drill over 100 mtrs a day, should be drilling the other one by now! | dan de lion
17/3/2017 08:08 | I'd say news has been sanctioned | fatnacker
17/3/2017 08:07 | huge spread | fatnacker
17/3/2017 07:27 | how long porridge? hopefully see him out | temmujin
17/3/2017 07:23 | looking at the eneo contract details, the conditions to trigger the take or pay element were met on 23rd April 15 so it follows that the date the contract (if its to be renewed) will be the same, that's just over five weeks away, so news is due in the near term one way or another for 108, 107 and the ENEO contract, potential news could be PEA approval from the cam gov for the farm in with BLVN before 30th June 17, completion of the first phase expansion of the gas treatment plant and following successful increase in production capacity a possible third power station contract, be nice if all those ducks line up. ps JG doing some porridge. | fatnacker
16/3/2017 22:49 | Thanks Eddie... Someone has said the same as you, a second opinion always helps. I guess the way you do it is probably the best way. At least I can be more prepared for it, if it becomes necessary. Thanks again for your time! | bobthetrader
16/3/2017 22:40 | Bob i do mine on-line and i don't think it does so I do an Excel spreadsheet to match everything up. I fill in the online section relating to CGT and then attach the spreadsheet. | eddiew
16/3/2017 22:34 | Thanks Eddie....Yes I am referring to a standard dealing account. I have done the calculations roughly, as you have pointed out above, but I was wondering whether the on-line tax return will do all the working-out for you, if you input all the data. | bobthetrader
16/3/2017 22:15 | Bob i assume you are referring to shares held in a standard dealing account as shares held and traded in an ISA account are not subject to capital gains or dividend tax and therefore do not have to be declared.Shares in a standard account have to be matched by the following rules.1. Shares in the same company bought and sold on the same day.2. Shares in the same company traded within 30 days.3. Section 104 holding. Shares in the same company but bought over a longer timescale. I.e 100 shares in company X bought in May at 1 pound per share. 100 shares in same company bought in August at 2 pound per share. This gives a section 104 holding of 200 shares at an average price of one pound fifty pence.I believe the above is correct.Eddie | eddiew
16/3/2017 20:02 | Question...for completing an on-line tax return. If you have sold and bought shares within the same compamy on the same day, or within 30 days, multiple times, (ie the B and B rule), does the online-return do it for you automatically when dates, quantities etc are entered, or do you have to understand how it works and calculate it yourself? Thanks in advance! | bobthetrader
16/3/2017 18:52 | Not sure what that's about Baticle, mistake or a sign? | fatnacker
16/3/2017 16:52 | Am I seeing that spread right 60.p bid 69.5p offer ? Strange... trading a bit quiet here today.... DRH - I Like the metaphoric synopsis by the way ;-) | baticle |
