11/6/2014 16:35 | Digital snake oil. SGFLSP Proprietor IMHO. A decade of failure to find a commercial application. But what is a decade between friends and several hundred thousand dollars drawn in salary paid for by shareholders? | jsbach123 | |

11/6/2014 12:15 | I suspect MW was as surprised and dejected as all of us regarding Vialogy's commercial demise and perhaps particularly the method of the VEC shot-gun news and detail. Could it be that one real danger of following tipsters is they too get taken in by their close associations (with contacts/BOD's), leading to a tendency to be more reluctant than otherwise would perhaps be the case to identify and call out bad practice early or strongly enough. I am not making a specific tipster judgement and MW is certainly of impecible repute and good value. One of the very best imo. Generally, I do think the Vialogy debacle shines a light on not holding a BOD to account early enough. Neither am I talking of my wish to get answers and hold them to account now, but of earlier, through high-trending issues like Evolution, ASTFS, BP, financials etc. People do not regularly hide and withhold and yet merit faith in their behaviour and simply excused in their operating practices. The risk-signs of a potential bad surprise were there, repeated, and largely ignored by most and ultimately also by me. Perhaps the old dangers of getting too close and losing an element of objectivity, giving repeated benefits of the doubt or letting progress overcome clear areas of deficiency are just some of the take-aways for all from a discredited old BOD. aimho AR is playing with a straight bat and all can see a world of difference at every level. It's like Chalk and Cheese. SGLFLS (Sandeep Gulati, Last Failure Left Standing) | twix386 |
