Looks worth holding vsvs I guess I was hoping to buy lower down but might buy back in soon.Well done lloyds, ironically I have not traded any bank shares since I sold my free Halifax shares lolNothing much I fancy atm lvd doing well tempted to cash in. Hi Wipo, was going to alert you to the RNS showing slight negative growth. Think any significant shareprice movement up will only be through M&A (Hoping they re-visit the MGAM merger). I'm still holding some though until Cevian show their hand regarding their future plans.

Sold some LLOY so looking for a short term play at the moment.

Hi Rabbar Yes I must say I was slightly confused and stayed mostly neutral overnight. luckilly closed my pound short on euro at 1.35. I had in the back of my mind a chap from Glasgow put on 30k on a tory majority made me think he knows something I don't.Have a good weekend. I think the ftse party is short term and will ease off next week. so still sitting on my hands for now

Just goes to show what I know (lol), Didn't see this coming at all. My lloy holding doing great this morning which was one of the ones I was going to part sell yesterday but didn't hit limit price.

Hi Rabbar hope you are well, I have not done much either. mostly in cash atm waiting to drip feed some cash slowly into markets . Not bought any vsvs yet but watching with interest bounced off 444p again. Good luck and take carep.s sometimes no trade is best trade and keep what stocks you have unless fundamentals change

Hope you are well too. Haven't done much the last week or so, with hindsight I should have sold a few positions. Suspect after the elections the market may move further downwards or be volatile for a period. Have a few divi's coming so that may see me through.
Hope you are right with this one (believe there is a trading statement soon)

Hi Rabbar hope you had a good holiday weekend. Looking at the chart on vsvs it looks like a good time for a top up. Weak pound should help. Will keep my powder dry until friday right enough to see how election goes.

Hi Rabbar, yeah always happens to me as well. I sold some vsvs a good few weeks ago at 442p and 460p then to watch it go up to 515p lol luckily set a trailing loss at 500p and sold a few at that price lol.Looking to buy these ones back now.Good luck.

Ps Alnt looks strong bounced off 378-380p trendline. Worth tucking away a few 888 incase another bid comes in. I will defo buy a few of these anywhere near 140p.

Hedge funds have bet on a fall in the share price of Carillion, according to the Sunday Times. The percentage of shares out on loan has hit 15.6%, research firm Markit said. It is one of the biggest short positions in the FTSE 350. The short sellers are targeting the construction company's lack of growth, exposure to slumping oil markets and pension deficit. Short sellers borrow a company's shares and sell them, hoping to make a profit by buying them back if the share price falls.

Looking at the vsvs chart looks like pretty close to the bottom. Broker note on weak u.s steel production looks over done.

Hi Rabbar, Well done on your trading. Thanks for info on Cenkos will do some research.Yes you are right to avoid aim. I only bought small amounts of caml and lvd. I don't buy many small caps due to spread and risk.I am looking to get back in alnt a bit lower down, guess I got this wrong selling at 330p. Can't win them all. Also would buy some vsvs around 440p.All the best Have a good weekend.

No, nothing at the moment just range trading on dips from my watchlist at the moment, have some long term holdings LLOY,BARC,RBS,EMG,ALNT,VSVS. Was tempted with some oil stocks (CNE,TLW)which have fallen but was cautious to dip my toes in the water - they have shot up in the past week.

Most of my recent trading has been with ALNT & MGAM recently - been in and out about 8 times on these recently - back in this morning on ALNT but probably too high. Looking for RMG & CNKS to fall back to hopefully get entry points. Don't do too much with AIM as not enough trading occurs and spreads make them difficult to trade.

Hi Rabbar good to hear from you too Thanks for the info on interactive broker will look into that. I still hold small amount of vsvs.Elsewhere long small caps LVD and CAML. Also hold BP and RMG ftse. I traded drax again now out. Hold Gdf Suez and Repsol euro markets and bought Intel Us.Anything catching your eye?All the best

Hi Wipo

Good to hear from you wasn't sure whether you were still a holder of VSVS. Haven't sold my holding as yet.
I've signed up to an additional Broker (Interactive Broker) so I can submit trades directly to the market, to get better entry/exit points for my shorter term trades using level 2 data. Takes a bit of getting used to & would recommend although it has a couple of drawbacks (waiting from trades to settle before reinvesting being the main one)

What are you trading at the moment?
